Perfect for a PFSense build
I purchased this for use with my new gigabit installation at my house. Slapped it into my pfsense box and I'm getting a very nice 950mbps down and 95mbps up WAN>LAN with no problems and noticable increase in CPU usage as a result of the NIC. Very nice. +1 for the inclusion of a low profile bracket.

Multiple failing ports
Looked too good to be true, and it was. 1 of the 4 ports died within months. A second port died a few months after that. Network speed does come close to 1Gbit with low CPU utilisation, but the quality/reliability is very poor.

Product was a FAKE - beware!
A friend has made me aware about how to identify the fakes (i.e. cheap knock-offs) from the originals. You can google servethehome Comparison: Intel i350-T4 Genuine vs Fake. Unfortunately I bought a fake but realized it too late. It works but I'm annoyed I paid a lot of money for something that uses cheaper parts but is still sold at a premium.

FreeBSD compatible, great for software router like OPNsense or pfsense
Works great! Intel chip and is compatible with FreeBSD. Comes with an attachment for low profile case. That is what I'm using to run my OPNSense box. Pricing is just standard.

Good quality and linux compatibility
After reading about all the 'fake' clones of the intel 340/350 T4 adapters, I gave up on looking for a real 'server pull' adapter and decided instead to purchase a new budget card. I initially chose this one because the company seems specialized in network cards, including products more advanced than the one i needed (quad gigabit ethernet) and they do not try to pretend it is a Dell, HPE or Intel card, but only that it compares to the i350. Anyhow, the adapter works fine for my debian 13 setup: PCI passthru of the 4 interfaces to a KVM VM running OPNsense. The interfaces are indeed identified as i350 based (both on debian and FreeBSD) with each interface is in its own group. I had an initial roadblock with my particular setup but their pre-sale/tech support was very responsive, proactive and helpful, beyond my expectations for a consumer product. Of course, ultimately, only time will tell about the quality but so far I am happy with the product, the compatibility and the company behind it. PS for linux users who want to pass it to a VM: i recommend using a modprobe.conf (as opposed to driverctl) to make sure vfio-pci grabs the card before the kernel.
