This small hibachi was packed well for shipping and didn't take long to arrive. I've never had one before and wanted a small, efficient grill that I could easily store when not in use. It's perfect in every way. It's sturdy, thick cast iron, not cheap feeling or cheap looking. I can easily grill food for two people even though the grill surface is small. The air flow through it was perfect, and not too difficult to get the charcoal burning. It took one minute to set it up by screwing the hibachi into its surface mount. My friend took one look at it and wanted one for himself. It was very affordable, considering that it won't wear out because it's quality cast-iron, and will last forever. I am THRILLED. Just check its measurements to be sure it will suit you, as it's small. It doesn't weigh too much and is easy to lift and carry around.

This little hibachi is perfect for one person. I have grilled T-Bone, Porterhouse and New York Strip steaks on it and they have turned out beautifully. Granted, the Porterhouse just barely fits on the grill but scooching it around a bit got the job done! And it doesn't take long to cook. I love the hibachi size as it is just me who uses it. It was VERY easy to assemble, it is made of cast iron so it is very durable and there is no rust in sight. I seasoned the whole thing when it first arrived, and clean the grill after each use, seasoning the grill each time. It is very easy to clean. This is one of the best purchases I have made and worth every penny!

This is a solidly built little hibatchi. We use it for Korean BBQ and for the occasional steak or burgers (3 max) to get that charcoal flavor. It's perfect for just the two of us and definitely too small for entertaining groups, where our larger gas grill works much better. The tool that comes with it is quite convenient for handling the hot grill top and it doubles as a bottle opener... nice design. We're very pleased with this and quite happy to have a charcoal grill again. This is a good value at this price and we can highly recommend it.

This is a tiny grill but works fine for two people. It definitely needs more charcoal than the instructions say to get a hot enough grill to cook on. It is good for 3 or 4 chicken breasts or couple of small steaks so be aware that it is small. Build quality: I ordered this grill because it was cast iron and heavy and felt it would hold heat, which it does. Overall I really like the grill. It is very portable because it is small so we can take it with us on a picnic.

Back in the day, college students could buy low quality but adequate hibachis at the hardware store to cook burgers, steaks, fish, etc on an apartment patio. This one is much more expensive but also of much higher quality, a thick cast iron body with heavy duty grills. Unfortunately, the cooking surface is so small that even cooking for two people is a challenge. I ended up getting a standard size "kettle" grill and using it for most purposes. This hibachi would be a good choice if you eat alone most of the time and prefer grilled to fried or roasted.

Perfect size for 1 person. Easy to assemble and is portable so you can store it anywhere. The build quality is excellent as well. Told all my friends and a couple are thinking about getting one. Can't beat the price compared to a full size grill you can buy 3 or 4 of these compared to one regular BBQ grill.

I can’t say enough good things about this hibachi. It’s the perfect size and shape for grilling smaller quantities. It’ll fit two large burgers with ease. A reasonable amount of charcoal is all that’s needed. Keeping the food close to the heat means you don’t need to build a large briquette pile for smaller amounts of food. Twelve to 15 may be all you need. On top of the great functionality, it cooks great with the charm and classic feel of cast iron. I’d buy it again.

Ok I’m going to set a new cooking trend! This is a quality item. Nothing to assemble. Solid, heavy and well made. It comes in a protective box which is good for storage. Excellent price for such a solid item. Fantastic for putting in the car for trips away. We buy single use charcoal bags (where you light the whole bag) with one fitting perfectly. How do we use it? Remember the old fondue trend? Imagine this outside…. Great for the two of us on a table (must be on a heat proof mat/cover!) with bits of meat/vegetables and lots of dips and bread. We’ve also used it for a group of friends to provide them snacks as they chatted over a few drinks. We just kept adding kebab sticks and prawns - no-one wanted dinner afterwards (but maybe that’s my cooking!!). We’ve been waiting for new stock for Christmas presents!

Premier test et déjà conquis. Ce mini barbecue est très pratique et rapide avec 15 boulets il était prêt en 15 mn. J'ai fait 2 cuissons, et j'aurai pu en faire encore 2 autres sans problème. La petite ouverture sur le devant et la grille inférieure assurent un bon tirage. Le nettoyage et le rangement sont très faciles. Je vais en offrir un à mes enfants.
