Sorry I can't say - if you ask again with the dimensions of the bin I could measure the bag and have a guess but I would say quite a few. If you need a large quantity I would consider mixing the salt with some coarse sand. This salt is very 'white' and pure.

Is rock salt safe to put on astro turf to kill weeds

Well I've used next to my lawn..some gets on grass no ill effects but I'm not sure regarding your Astro turf.. It's a case of suck it and see...on a small area...but always be on the safe side...ok..sorry I've had no problems..re- normal grass..but Astro - turf..the name alone spooks me..better to be safe than sorry..try a tiny part..first ok..best I can do sorry..

No it's like household salt rougher..greyish colour but what a job it does fantastic... It's a goood bye.. Would not be without it last winter was reletively snow free used it once but glad I have no problem storing it in shed I recommend it. It's a good price
