Prevents smell from our hedgie much better than the similar confetti bedding I was using. The bedding changes can be stretched further apart & it's cost friendly. I love it! I want a package in every color!😊It's also nice and fluffy, doesn't mash down & it's soft on thier feet compared to cedar bedding. Pretty efficient!

This is the perfect bedding for our hamsters! We have been using it for 7 months now and have reordered it 2 times. We got ourselves the big pack and it lasted for about 10 changes or so. It is very densely packed, so a word of advice would be to not put too much of these into their habitat since the bedding will expand after a while. We usually put enough to cover about 3/4 of the floor of their habitat and it will expand to just the right amount afterwards.Our hamsters love pushing and stuffing it into the acrylic house that they sleep in. It absorbs their pee really well and it does not smell very bad even after a week. We usually change them out once a week. It keeps their cage clean and almost odorless. My hammies would very often carry a piece in their mouth to bring it up to their lookout for naps or bury their food stash under these beddings. I can tell that our winter whites love this product! A good buy!

Absorbs like crazy, controls odor, has no scent (scented bedding is bad for cage critters) I recommend this product highly for anyone who has animals in cages - hamsters, mice, rats, guinea pigs, gerbils, degus. I would also recommend this product in a low box for anyone needing a temporary potty spot for a small dog or a cat .... post surgery, for example. Or for a rescuer dealing with puppies or kittens .... when a rescued animal has a litter, the odds are good that there are issues for mom and / or babies. Providing a soft, scent free easily changed potty spot is huge.

I love carefresh bedding. I use to use the pine cedar bedding, but I learned that the oils in the bedding hurt my hamsters skin!This is a little expensive, but it lasts about two weeks before it smells. I also have allergies, so this helped because it is pure recycled paper. It absorbs very well, making it easy to clean the cage! When initially placing it in the cage it is compressed, so it is clumpy but it is really easy to crumble with your hands.My hamster also loves it, she will sleep in the middle of her cage with the bedding surrounding her!

Cute, cute , cute. My hamster doesn't care, but I love it. I use another product in the corner where he urinates, as Carefresh doesn't absorb the odor as well. But for the rest of his cage, this product is soft and warm for him.

I used to love this bedding and it is still great for odor absorption. It used to be soft and now it is hard and almost crunchy feeling not what bedding should feel like. At first I thought it was just a bad batch but I bought it 3 other times both from Amazon and from the pet store as well. I am now using the Kaytee Soft and Cozy Birthday Cake Bedding. It works great so far.
