Zippo 3-in-1 Axesaw

Fantastic tool better than the zippo lighter. The ax cuts like a chainsaw, I haven’t tried the saw yet. Extremely well built and looks like it will last a lifetime light enough to throw in your pack very well balanced the one tool to have when you’re out in the woods. Thank you zippo.

Ok so like it for the most part. Conversion to saw is simple enough and pretty easy to do. The only problem I have with it is the hammer portion is plastic and good hit on something and it will create cracks, and that the head is too light for an axe.

The media could not be loaded. So I am a combat veteran and service technician I'm always out and about being very hard on any tools or equipment I have so quality is very important to me . The zippy woods man is an amazing tool my camping pack won't be without one of these ever again. It has a very ergonomic feel to the handle with offers a very easily converted tool from the axe to a very useful saw that will cut through almost anything that you can put in front of it . The zippy woodsman is the only survival axe setup you'll need . It has an amazing fit to it , a very useful , quality made , budget friendly peice of equipment.

So I bought this before a camping trip and my buddy was like no it’s no good!Well I decided to give it a try and wow we were both impressed!!!The ax is great and the hammer is a little soft I have scared mine up on the 1st outing but over all it’s really good. I would have like to have seen a metal hammer so when I used it for Battening with my machete it wouldn’t have scared it up. And the little latch on the bottom needs a tie down for when your chopping but other than that it has definitely made me happy I purchased it!!!Would recommend!!!

What are Zippo's known for... windproof lighters. What else do they make that's awesome... THIS SAW! Ax, saw, stake hammer... a campers dream! Easy to use, always comfortable, sharp out of the box!! I love this saw!

Before i took it into the woods i was getting unsure about it... the really small black plastic thumb screw was cracked on mine out of the box. All other plastic components were very hard cheap feeling plastic, like they would crack easy. I thought i'd still give it a shot though for $60 on a recent camping trip in northern Michigan. When trying to split my first log i realized the biggest design flaw.. i chopped on the end of a small 5"dia log to split it for our fire and the axe head jammed immediately... look closely at the product pics, there is a blunt shoulder right where the axe head joins the handle, about and inch and a half wide! No wonder the axe head wouldn't slide thru the wood like a normal axe, your cut abruptly stops at the shoulder! No axes are designed like that and its obvious the designer never chopped wood! I am mad at myself not noticing this obvious flaw. Will return it soon when i have time to go thru that hassle. Such a basic flaw.
