Will it work on a 110v 60hz???

Yes it will if you change the lamp to 110v .It is a SES reflector type.Hope this helps.

It's roughly a foot tall and roughly 10" radius .. It looks very effective next to the tv but I struggle to watch the programmes because I'm hypnotised by the lamp.Hope this info is useful , endy

Has anyone tried to fit the Nova Illusion Lava bottle into a Mathmos Jet lamp base? I would love a replacement for my old Mathmos Jet.

Looks like a direct copy- I haven't got one of the Nova lamps, but I've got a Mathmos Jet, curretly our of action - great orange wax, but depite my efforts to replace the liquid, nothing has worked. The wax melts, but just sits at the bottom in a dome.... I'm tempted to buy a Nova because the Jet also has a dodgy lamp socket that I can't get at to fix.
