Singing Machine SML682BTW Bluetooth and CD Karaoke Machine with LED Lights and Microphone, White

Bought this for my daughters Christmas present, but not sure she'll get it, it's so cool I want to keep it myself! Comes with 3 CD'S 2 of which are chart hits the 3rd is childrens nursery rhyme songs. The microphone is a bit tinny, but perfectly fine for its purpose, sound quality is good. I bought this from amazon directly used and didn't pay full price, knowing that the box would be damaged, it was but the music box inside was in perfect condition. Now seeing it I would have been happy to pay the full Price. The light show is great and the side lights flash in time with you singing. My 5 year old is going to be very happy on Christmas morning and I think it's fair to say the rest of the family will have a sing too!

I am awarding 4 stars for this item based on the current price of £79. A decent and quite full-featured small, portable home karaoke system, ideal for children 8 and over but also fun for teens and adults too. Despite being small this unit puts out a decent level of sound and the sound quality was acceptable to good - it's not hi-fi standard, but better than expected actually. This is quite a well-featured unit - you can use karaoke CDs (CD + G) in the top-loading CD player (it doesn't play DVDs), you can download karaoke tracks to a USB stick and play them from that, you can pair with your phone or tablet over bluetooth and play tracks that way. Note there is no screen. If you want to see lyrics you need a tablet, phone or to plug the unit into a TV (a cable is provided in the box, that also allows you to play the audio through your TV if you want). Note that to see lyrics you will need to be playing tracks that do include the graphics component (e.g. on a CD + G disc). The main problem with this unit, so far, is that the microphone and microphone amplification circuit are weak - even when you turn the microphone input up to maximum, it can be hard to tell if the microphone is working sometimes, and often the singer will query "is the microphone on ?". Annoyingly, the unit then re-sets the microphone volume level (and echo setting) each time you turn the unit off (grrr). I invested £25 in a good quality extra microphone and cable, and the Behringer microphone I bought makes a big difference - it's louder and better made. However, even with a professional microphone, the volume level of the vocals is not what you would expect, and noticeably quieter than the karaoke systems you might experience in a bar, social club, pub, etc. So why give 4 stars? Well what do you expect for £79? Those systems in bars costs hundreds of pounds and have much more powerful amplifiers. I would not recommend this system for a social club or bar, but for home use it is fine. It is supplied with a few free discs but you can buy more on Amazon or download karaoke tracks from various web sites. I recommend Zoom karaoke - seem to have decent quality musicians making the backing tracks. The flashing lights are fun but don't expect them to light up the room like a disco - they don't throw much extra light into the room, but kids love them and they dynamically react to the music. The unit also has the ability to alter the key of the backing track, but there is no auto-tune type tech to alter your signing voice - there is only an echo effect, no reverb or anything like that.

I'm very impressed. Looks great first off. Plays cd's (kids have loads) too. Great sound, lights go with music. Microphone has a echo effect. My 7 year old daughter loves and so do the rest of the family. Recommended

We tried it with the tv and the sound is great from of the karaoke machine, lights are bright and words nice and clear on the screen from using the cds that came bundled with it. Very impressed. We also then had a go using Spotify as the lyrics come up on the screen and that worked quite well and linking via Bluetooth was very simple. It’s a shame we couldn’t use an iPad for the lyrics only which would’ve been handy. We got the extra microphone or there would’ve been fighting over the one and a rock jam branded one was sent and it worked very well. Kids have been very happy with their Christmas gift. Not a bad price at all for what you get.

We got this in the Black Friday reductions and thought it was a great bargain. It’s much lighter than I expected so I hope that’s not an indication of poor quality - so far that’s not been the case. Gave to son at Christmas and so far it has been a great success - music quality is great, light show fantastic, plays cds, mic quality good enough for purpose. The whole family has enjoyed some karaoke in the last couple of days and I can imagine my son singing with his friends. Last CD player I bought from Amazon (now unavailable) only lasted a year so I am wary of getting too attached but I am hopeful this will be better and he will get more use out of it.

I bought this kareoke for my grandaughter for Christmas, unfortunately it was faulty. I contacted the seller who immediately agreed to the return. I waited for the refund, then ordered the same item, as it sounds lovely, not overly loud, but good enough for a 7 year old. Light display fantastic, only one mic. But the karaoke I received was a different colour. (pink) I'd ordered red and green. Everything else was the same. Plays lovely lots of features. Not sure a boy would have appreciated a bright pink colour. Still happy with it. I'd recommend as for the money worth it.

Bought this for my daughter from Santa, and on Christmas morning we had a party house!! It is fab!! It looks great! Sounds great and has all the mod cons I could ask for, love this!! Ps my daughter is only 2 and could work it no problem ,

Had two of these machines both broke. Company do nothing as it comes with only 90 day warranty !!! Company where not helpful

è bello da vedere, leggero, con tante funzioni e la possibilità di sentire la musica in molte modalità (usb, cellulare, cd, ecc) registra anche se c'è una pennetta usb e quindi è perfetto, in più si sente una meraviglia, l'ho regalato ai miei nipoti (4 e 9 anni) e non ho mai azzeccato il regalo come con questo karaoke, fantastico!

Prodotto buono, miltifunzione adatto per tutta la famiglia. Se aveva anche la radio sveglia era al top! Qualità prezzo ottimo.

War ein Weihnachtsgeschenk für unsere Tochter die gerne Lieder singt. Kinderleichte Bedienung des Gerätes. Optisch gefällt es sehr gut. Sound für Kids ausreichend. Alles in einem eine gute Wahl und sehr zu empfehlen.
