No Delivery and Out of Stock
Having looked at the great reviews that there were for this product, I was really excited to order this as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday and felt pretty sure that it would be an easy process. How wrong I was. A week after the estimated delivery window ended, I am still without the product (my boyfriend's birthday is long passed!), and was told it was because the courier DPD had misplaced it. To make matters worse, SteakStones were sold out.I've never had a problem with DPD in the past, but was unable to track my order this time, which I found unusual, so I'm not sure if SteakStones just didn't want to pay a higher price for guaranteed delivery or something. Either way - I'd be careful about ordering the stones here. I've managed to find them cheaper elsewhere online and with a 2-5 day delivery estimate. Here's hoping someone can restore my faith in what I hoped would be a great gift for someone, instead of being a massive waste of time.

Extremely Poor Customer Service
I purchased the steak plate via the SteakStones website directly and it took 3 delivery attempts and numerous email correspondences. After I placed the order, there was no email confirmation (and yes I did check my junk mail folder) and they were very quick to take money out of my account. You send them an email and you'd be lucky to get a reply in 48 hours. Nobody ever picks up the phone (as advertised on their website). The guy called Nick Metcalf wasn't helpful either. On the basis of customer service, I'm rating this supplier as poor. I would not recommend to any of my friends (and I don't care how good their products are).
