Brilliant umbrella!
It is the best umbrella I've had. Both a gadget and a serious accessory, it is a must for an elegant young man. Large enough for 2 people to stand under it and protect your bag and stuff, its size cannot be guessed until it's opened. Good quality, strong, air resistant, quite light, with a modern handle. Comes with a nice case. Good value for price, but be careful not to lose it!

Rainy days are here again
A full sized umbrella that packs in to a small space. Perfect. Well, almost perfect. The mechanism involved to open out the fabric requires a lot of joints. To keep weight down, the joints have to be of minimal construction and that is where the umbrella falls down, if such a thing is possible. In general terms, it is s great idea. I am using my third one to prove the point, although the second one was returned for a refund after one of the hinges broke within a couple of days. For something that will fit in to a rucksack but keep you perfectly dry when employed and dry quickly once wet is to be congratulated. If you want a human sized umbrella that does not take up much space, take a look at this model. Just be prepared to find a possible fault, but take account of the workmanship taken to make it.

The force is strong with this one...
Having purchased cheap umbrella's off a certain auction site that were very cheaply manufactured and bent very easily resulting in the part of the metal ribs completely snapping in half and giving my hand a rather nasty gash, I was out to look for a new umbrella of more acceptable quality. I did a little looking around and the brand FULTON popped up many times, After a little research into the company themselves, their products and the feedback they received I decided to spend a little more money on an umbrella then I normally would have. Needless to say i was very sceptical at first, I had no qualms at all about sending it back straight away for a refund when it arrived if I thought it was no better than trash i bought of the auction site. Fortunately this isnt the case! My new umbrella arrived this morning and after a very very close inspection of its build quality and Construction I can happily say that its a definite keeper. The frame is quite sturdy due to the strength/thickness of the metal used to make it, looks like it can also withstand some strong gusts along with that torrential downpour. Was it worth the money spent? thats always the million dollar question. I would have prefered to pay less obviously but there is no substitute for quality especially when it comes to umbrellas, they need to be strong and durable to put up with the British weather. You cant put a price of a GOOD QUALITY umbrella that protects you against the elements. Verdict: Money well spent - Better £20-25 for one of these Fultons than 10 cheap umbrellas for the same price

Excellent
Very sturdy, this is my third one of these, first lasted ages but inevitably broke eventually, second lost (in a pub I think!) and no hesitation in buying another. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and it must be the biggest folding umbrella out there, I carry it in the side pocket of my backpack. Only thing to note is that it is not vented so whilst it's fine for normal windy conditions, it's not really made for a gale!

Big and Clever
This is brilliant. I've been carrying around a small folding umbrella for the journey from home to the train station. Problem was keeping your legs dry. This is bigger when folded than my old one but huge when opened. The handle is sturdy and easy to hold. You press the button on the handle and the umbrella opens up. Press it again and it collapses the canopy. Very useful for when you arrive at a doorway and only have 1 hand free. The large canopy protects more of your lower body and it is big enough to share the protection with someone else. He canopy fabric is thick and not see through. very happy

Large but not very steady.
This is a quality make and the umbrella is very large-span (when open) for a folding one. It is a bit longer and heavier than a handbag-style folding umbrella. The open press mechanism is good and seems reliable. To close it, you have to push on the centre and it can be a bit combersome as you need two hands. The holding handle is soft and flexible. A more serious problem for me is how easily the unbrella turns in the wind - I thought given the make and the sturdiness it would be more windproof, and more stable than a giant umbrella. And so I have found myself clutching it right below the top and tiliting it against the wind to prevent it from turning inside out, which means that due to its size I can't see if anyone is walking towards me. I would recommend it for heavy rain, in low or no wind, particularly if you need to shelter two people or an adult and a youngster.

A good sturdy automatic umbrella with plenty of room
Good points * Plenty of room for two or three people * Good build quality * Folds down to a manageable size for bag * Automatic open and close Only niggle is it can flip open in a strong wind but at flexible and strong enough not to break. Have bought for myself and others.

Still the best portable golf umbrella
Have bought more than ten of these in the past 20 years, mostly to give away, and have had it only died on me three times; one lost because it is so portable and I am getting forgetful, one because I tried to open / close it in horizontal rain (not recommended), and one through wear and tear. It is not indestructible, but weathers most rains pretty well, and has survived many major gusts. Still the largest portable brolly at 124cm and my go-to, though more recently I caved in to try the (very slightly smaller at 120cm) Fulton Tornado for the first time.
