Absolutely loved this flavour. Has a little sour kick to it sometimes which is nice. A lot of energy in this can too. Great for a pre-workout!

Really delicious, no chemical aftertaste. Shame it's so expensive

I love apple flavour things. And I love sugar free energy drinks. So I was hoping this would be great... but unfortunately it's pretty rubbish. It leaves a weird feeling in your mouth, doesn't give a good buzz, and for some reason makes your throat sore... Add to that no ones uses BCAAs these days as it can lead to imbalances in amino acids (you should use EAAs) and you have a recipe for a poor drink. Sorry!

I love this stuff! Years ago I used to drink Rockstar's Sour Apple energy drink and I loved the way it made my cheeks pucker because of how sour it was. Since cutting sugar from my diet I've been trying to find a suitable replacement, but most sugar-free versions have failed to live up to my tangy expectations. Rockstar's Sugar-Free Hardcore Apple is nice, but not sour at all. I like it, but it's nowhere near as nice as their full-sugar version. I've also tried Reign's Sour Apple is also nice, but contrary to its name, not sour at all; more of just a sparkling apple flavour. Today though I tried my first can of this Muscle Moose Green Apple stuff (my own order was 'undeliverable' by Hermes for some reason, but I was able to find it for sale in a little shop nearby for £1.59) and it's definitely my new favourite. Much more sour than the other two brands (although still not as sour as the original Rockstar full-sugar stuff, but noticeably better than the others) it has a strong apple taste with a nice little sour kick. I've never seen this brand for sale where I live before now (but then I do live on a tiny rock in the middle of the Irish Sea, so I should just be grateful for us having electricity & indoor plumbing) but I really hope my replacement order arrives okay so that I can get a crate of this stuff delivered directly to my door for convenience. Also looking forward to trying the other flavour options too - sour blue raspberry sounds right up my street. But yeah, if you like apple and you want a nice sour kick, give these a try. Nice to see other brands giving Monster a run for their money and driving the competition up a gear.
