Brooks Men's Ghost 14 Neutral Running Shoe

Last year I went to the doctor after not seeing one for over 10 years. Turned out I had Neurotrophy in both feet and have type 2 diabetes, and was pounding down sugar like there was no tomorrow. For the last year, I walk 2 to 3 miles every day, and occasionally I even walk up to 5 miles. I have lost 65 lbs but the one thing I suffer is pain in my feet. The pain is indescribable and over the last year, I have probably bought no less than 20 pairs of shoes in an attempt to find comfort.I googled the most comfortable shoes for diabetics and found these. I bought one size larger than I normally use and the first time I went for a 2-mile walk and later I thought, hmm this is the first time I didn't even think of foot pain while walking. So far I love these shoes! It's been a few walks now and I can honestly say they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I would defiantly recommend Brooks to other people.

I am a casual runner and regular jogger. I jog about 25 miles / 40 km per week, and compete in 10K and half marathon (13.1 mile) races. This shoe offers excellent support and cushioning, and it is well made. The ribbed laces stay tied. The inserts and tongue stay put if the shoe fits, and is properly tied. Because I have high foot arches, I add a Pro-Foot insert to each shoe for extra cushioning. The shoes offer good grip on almost any surface, including in wet road conditions. I have been running in Brooks since the Ravenna 6 (my first pair) was current (2013/14?). I have tried other brands, but keep returning to Brooks - they make good products.

I purchased these shoes to take on a two week trip to Europe. I visited 4 different countries and 8 different cities. The shoes being new out of the box, I expected some break in would be necessary. From day one the shoes fit and felt great! This was a walking tour. As an example, my Apple Watch calculated that in Marseille, France I walked 28,203 steps and covered 14.2 miles in one day. The usual daily average was closer to 20,000 steps each day. I am 77 years old, and this is the first review I have ever posted for a product. The shoes still look like they just came out of the box. Great product!!!

If you’re looking to get a pair of great (and affordable) running shoes these are them. I didn’t want to spend over $100 on a pair of shoes I was just going to use for running and wow I was very pleasantly surprised with these!! I’ve been running roughly 4 miles almost everyday and these are far more comfortable than any other shoe I’ve ran in. Definitely recommend.

Just got them today...May 31st. So far so good. Feel comfy. Wearing them to work tonight for the real test! I stand in 1 place on my feet on concrete! Wish me luck!I have tried sooo many types of shoes for work but none have given me the comfort or protection needed to get me thru my shift....hopefully these shoes will be my last!

If you are like me and frugal with your money, you may be questioning if you should spend $100 on these shoes? I had never owned Brooks before but had heard good things. These shoes are so comfortable and I feel like I’m walking on springs. Whether it’s in the gym running or just casual activities they have been great. So yes, spend the money.

I have tried a lot of shoes for flat feet( All birds ,New Balance ,Sketchers ,Kurus, Hokas,) these Ghosts are what make my feet happy. Ample support, light and I have worn them all day since day 1. Everyone's feet are different so when you find the right pair stay with them.

The shoes are comfortable and fit nice. I have had them for only a couple months and have only used them to run on my treadmill. I am a little disappointed that one of the shoes is starting to have a blue discoloration as can be seen in the picture. Since I only run indoors with them, I don't know what has caused it. But overall, the shoes work good.

Perfect for running. I love the color and I use them on a daily basis because they are really comfortable.

I am 56 and run 12 miles a week. I prefer road running and have always chosen running shoes with 'Flytefoam' or gel. I tried these due to good reviews. These are not 'spongy' and give excellent cushioning for the road.At this price point they are superb road shoe for a novice like me.They took about 50 miles to 'break in' but I would highly recommend them.

Good fit, lasted well. Needed a size bigger but now the outer tip fabric doesn't wear out.
