Keysmart
Got this as had one before but the screws had stuck on thread but it’s nice to keep keys tidy but only 4 so no problem. Picked red as it’s easy to see if mislaid but only down side is it’s tight to get keys out of slot but I’m sure they be easier as I use it. Easy to take apart and reassemble with keys so good value.

Nice, but missing bits?
I like it so far. Managed to get a mortise lock key on one end by padding the flat part with spacers to make it the same thickness as the bar. However, although it came with longer screws to hold more keys, it didn’t come with the matching extension bars. This makes it really fiddly to put the extra keys on. You have to balance the two stacks of keys on the screws and then lower the other half down hoping they line up somewhere in the middle.

plenty of love for the original.
no matter what models of key organisers keysmart make and release, i will always have a plethora of love for the original. slim, sleek, streamlined, compact and lightweight, it feels very ergonomic to handle. with expansion packs, you can fit up to as many keys as you like, as long as it's not over a hundred. another thing i like about this is that with the accessories that keysmart makes, you're able to fit it in without it being too bulky. overall, a product that i have a plethora of love for and will happily purchase another, should mine break.

Life-changing imporvement to how I carry my keys.
Can't believe I lived without this for so long! There's not much to this device but it is excellently engineered and is very well built. It has reduced my bulk of keys to a much more manageable format, to the point that I can put them in a front pocket of my jeans, something I could never do with my old bundle. The expansion pack I bought with this is excellent and allows me to add in various keys and other items, such as USB stick, Santander cycle fob, D-Lock keys - you just have to factor in that some of these use up a 2-key equivalent. It's well worth watching the instructional videos on Keysmart's website and spending a little time thinking about what order you want the key installed in, considering how often you use certain keys and how you may remember which key is which e.g try to avoid putting 2 very similar looking keys next to each other (this was impossible with my old bundle as they all ended up together). All in all a great purchase and well worth the money for a well built version, there are plenty of knock-offs but if the threads fail or the plates bend you've got an expensive bundle of metal.

It killed my front door key!
OK, I clearly got this wrong. It looks really clever but I'm clearly not qualified to own one. 1. Only accommodates flat Yale and locker keys - so no use for my 2 mortice keys, still had to have them hanging off the back. I guess this is as shown in the photos so I should have realised. 2. I found it so awkward to turn my door key when it was fastened into the KeySmart that I managed to twist the key in the lock and break it - impressive lever action!

Good idea, but!!!!
Well, when you go to take a key, the slot is soo close, it's near impossible to get to the key, but I believe with a few adjustments to the width, you can easily get the key out. This is what I plan to do, getting longer screws and put some tiny nuts in between to increase the gap, making it much easier to get keys out and cut off excess screw length once tightened in place.

Solves a problem....
Ordered it Saturday via Prime and delivered midday the following day. Envelope sized cardboard packaging so could be posted by courier quite easily. Simple anodised aluminium product which appears well made. It doesn't look much for £20 but at least it appears to be well engineered. Basically it's like a pocket knive without blades and you unscrew the two screw heads with something like a one penny piece and find a number of washers that go between each key. It is rather fiddly to set up and you need to think how you want you keys to be ordered. It you don't you end up dismantling it over and over unt you get it right. Being fiddly to do it's worth just stopping and thinking. I selected the red product from a drop down box which suggested you could house up to eight keys. I can only manage a maximum of six keys so cannot see how another two would squeeze in. There is a keyring hook that comes with it but that takes the space of one key..... I gave used Yale keys and another square Yale variation, which is larger, as well as a small locker key. Once assembled it's quite nice to have them all compact and neat. They don't seem to come loose but the 1 pence is always worth using to tighten up. It's a bit pricey but it seems to work well. And in my case I reviewed what I was carrying about everywhere and it resulted in me ditching ten surplus keys.

Sturdy, neat key tidy!
So firstly, this thing is a nightmare to put together. Balancing keys on top of eachother and adding in spacers... It's not easy. You're gonna need 10 minutes and a little patience. I don't see that as a failing of the product, it just is what it is. Once it's together, it's a pretty nice tool. Saves your keys getting tangled in your pocket and addition of a small tool and adding a sim remover (tech support router reset tool for me) is a nice touch.

Indispensable! Buen producto!
