Acctim 74662 Nardo 20cm Radio Controlled White Wall Clock

I've had this clock a couple of months now and so far it's showed the right time, which I'm very pleased about. No instructions came with it so I just put the battery in and let it do its thing. It self adjusts overnight I believe when the radio signal is at its strongest.Whatever it does, it nice looking with a clear and readable face. Quiet too.I certainly recommend, and will buy again.

Brilliant clock. Working well so far. Took a while for the signal to come through but after a bit of fiddling and resetting it finally got there. Good clear face and the tick is not too loud for me. Good in a therapy room.

This clock would have earned 5 stars but for the fact that there wasn't a single word with it on how to set it up. When I tried it set itself to 12.00 and then simply stopped. So, I took the battery out and tried again, same result. In fact, the same result on 5 attempts. It was then that I decided that it didn't work and so I requested and was granted a return. Then I decided to find another suitable clock to purchase and looked through almost the whole list, avoiding all Acctim products, of which there are a great many.I just happened to be looking at the listing for a run of the mill clock when I noticed the advice it gave; "Once the clock has set to 12.00 leave it for a few minutes whilst it establishes connection with the atomic clock.BINGO.I tried this on the Acctim and after a wait of a couple of minutes it showed me the correct time. As it was not an ugly clock I decided to cancel my return and keep the clock. It is now operating perfectly in my bedroom and I am perfectly happy with it.If only Acctim had bothered to give some setup advice they would have received 5 Stars.

Our previous radio controlled clock started giving us the wrong time each time it updated itself. This one is a perfect replacement.

These are lovely clocks - picked a couple up, very legible and easy to read - love the colour options. These are radio controlled clocks, note that signal tends to be best overnight so they may need to be left alone to find the signal overnight. I think some simple instructions either on the box or as a slip in the box would be appreciated - just because there are some buttons on the back, for example 'rec' which I assume means 'search for signal', as well as a set and reset button - but generally you'll want to just pop a battery in these and leave them alone to do their thing - quality better than I expected for the price, pleasantly surprised - British brand which is nice to support. Clock is very quiet, I have much smaller analogue clocks which click much more loudly.

Intermittent fault after about a yearI bought this Acctim Nardo 20cm radio-controlled clock from Amazon about a year ago and initially I was very pleased with it. It looks good and, when working correctly, keeps accurate time. However, I have now experienced the same fault twice. The hands suddenly start moving continuously around the clock face and do not stop. The only way I have been able to recover it is by removing and restarting the battery, after which it appears to reset and work normally again. This is particularly disappointing for a radio-controlled clock, as I would expect the mechanism to be reliable and automatically correct itself without getting stuck in a continuous cycle. As the problem has now happened twice, I consider this to be an intermittent fault rather than a one-off incident. I would be interested to know whether other owners have experienced the same problem.Good clock when it works, but the intermittent hand-movement fault is concerning.

It's an attractive clock and it keeps perfect time.Put the batteries in, it defaulted to 12 and then paused for the signal to cut in and set the time. That took maybe ten minutes, and it's been perfect ever since. I won't have to touch it until the battery dies. A kitchen essential.

I bought a radio signal controlled clock so I could set my mechanical watches each time I wear them. Annoyingly this one is exactly a minute fast. I'm assuming the minute hand is misaligned. I can work around but not really the point
