This is going to be fun.
Pay close attention to the handle you are ordering. I didn’t the first time, but the seller helped me to correct my mistake. I put the Catfish Handle on a vintage Abu Ambassadeur 5000-C. It fit perfect, and looks awesome. The handle extra length and leverage really brings out the best of this reel, which is mounted on a Shakesphere Ugly Stick Catfish rod. The new handle has made this rig into the ultimate Flathead Catfish harvesting machine. Highly recommend if you want to improve your Catfish and Muskie rigs.

Buy This Reel handle!
I've bought 2 so far and plan to buy at least 2 more. A perfect fit for my Abu Garcia ambassador reels! Not only does it look amazing but it makes the reel feel like butter. The handle feels better than the stock Abu power handle for sure IMO!

When you need the added torque...
When you need the added torque, a power handle is the correct choice. This was my first trip using this on my setup. And wouldn't you know: the 2nd catch of the day was a 15LB blue catfish! This beast was STRONG and fought aggressively, but I had no trouble wrangling it in with proper drag settings. The color matches my Abu perfectly, and for the price I won big. I will update with pics later.

Love the grip
Got this for my Abu Garcia Ambassador Catfish Special reel. The reel came with a power handle, but the knob is a flattened spud I really didn't like. This knob is round, when you grab it when you get a strike you don't have to fumble to get the knob into position in your hand. It's already there. Grab, set, and reel.

Good quality handle.
Good quality handle. Fits Ambassador 6000 reels and has extra plastic nuts and washers. Should be good for catfish and surf fishing. Easy to replace original handle which is under built for a reel of this size.

Sleek and well made
This is well made and executed on the machining. The bearings are smooth and it was easy to replace on my Abu. Worth it.

Great handle and easy to retriev. Since my abu Garcia is blue, it’s a perfect match

Solid but slight manufacturer defect.
Looks good compared to the handle the Abu C4 comes with. BUT the hole to attach the handle with a screw was improperly drilled out slightly so it was a pain to attach. Otherwise it seems sturdy. Would probably buy again
