There is a smell to them but if you use socks over them that sort of hides it. They have left me feet softer than what they were.

I love a foot peel, and use one every 9 - 12 months to keep any hard skin away.Follow the instructions and they really work. They are a faff to use, yes, they smell of pure alchohol with a hint of scent, yes you feel like your feet are sloshing about in a wet bag (which it is). Soak your feet well in the bath or a tub of water first and then put your feet up and watch a film while they do their magic and I promise you'll see some results.It might seem like nothing has happened when you use it (although the tops of your feet might be a bit sensitive - I smother in Vaseline to help keep the solution away from those areas), and then over the course of the next 1 - 2 weeks, as long as you soak your feet daily the skill will start to slough away, I find it easiest to give them a good rub with my hands in the bath.Now take note that some of the other reviews are saying it's a faff or that it doesn't work, I'd like to point out, again, that they take 1 to 2 weeks to see the full effects! Those people are reviewing a day after use! There won't be any visible effect by then. Soak your feet daily for 2 weeks after use and I promise you'll have much better foot skin!The photos of the skin peeling away doesn't happen to me, I end up with the skin flaking away into my socks, so you'll want to have the vacuum around during the peeling process!I think the price of these, considering you get 2 packs is great value for money! You only need to do a food peel once or twice a year if you keep up with good care in between (e.g. moisturise your feet daily before you put socks on!) and they will stay lovely and soft.

I popped the plug in the plughole whist having my shower in order to soak my feet for 10 minutes, so that part is easy enough, maybe.At first, I was happy to see that there were 2 sticky tabs for each foot, but that actually wasn't enough as the liquid gets on the outside of the boot thing and stops the sticky tabs from sticking to it.When using my scissors to cut open the boot, the liquid got all over them, so they needed to be washed after use. Then, getting the boots open in order to put my feet in resulted in it getting on my fingers, so maybe it would be better to use a washing up bowl to soak your feet so that you can then use it to wash your hands and scissors in, rather than splodging into the kitchen to wash them whilst wearing these boots, resulting in the tabs completely giving up on keeping the boots closed. Maybe include clearer guidelines of the pitfalls for first time users. It would maybe be better to aid the help of a friend.I have quite a deep crack in my right heel at the moment, and that stung for the first 10 minutes or so, but it felt ok after it settled down; it has been waking me up at night, which is why I wanted to try these boots.I suppose you could sit in the bathroom for an hour with your phone, but I wanted to sit at my computer for an hour whilst it took effect, good excuse, I thought.So after my hour was up, I had to splodge up stairs to the bathroom in order to wash my feet in the shower, which resulted in more pain in the crack on my heel.The liquid washed off easily, and there is no immediate improvement whatsoever.I thought that the lavender scent was very mild, but I don't have the best sense of smell, so others may disagree.Now, I have to soak my feet for 10 minutes a day, so that will be easy to do in the shower with the plug in the plughole, and wait for the magic to happen. If they work, then I think that they are good value for money, since you get 2 treatments, and next time I'll know the pitfalls and how to do this for the best without splodging around all over the house and gunging up my scissors.

I ordered these "Award-Winning" grace & stella Foot Peel Masks (2 Pairs, Lavender) because my feet desperately needed some TLC. The dryness, cracked heels and hard skin on feet has been plaguing me since menopause.I soaked my feet in warm water for about 10 to 15 mins and dried them thoroughly then I applied the little booties for an hour and a half and relaxed to a black and white oldie film...All I can say is that it takes a few days to see results so have patience and do NOT be tempted to moisturise or lotion your feet during this process. Also, if you have a pair of leg warmers - forget about the tiny stickers that come in the pack - leg warmers are just what's needed to keep the plastic booties on your feet.Immediately after, my feet felt very soft and moisturised. After a few days the peeling began. It took a few days more for all of the dead skin to come off and now I have softer, smoother feet than I've ever had in my quinquagenarian and sexagenarian years (I'm 61 and only 3 years into menopause).I'm very happy with this product and would definitely recommend.

I've used a foot mask once before but despite that, I still wasn't prepared for the rather disgusting effect this had! Having said that, it is of course just doing what it says it will but it's still a bit of a shock on day 2 or 3 when you see the dry skin being shed! I'm on day 5 now so the full effect hasn't quite been achieved yet but enough to say that I can see my feet will end up being lovely and soft. If this is your first time using one of these, be prepared and don't worry - you'll end up with baby soft feet!

I have been using this product for a long time and been totally happy with the results, however the packaging has changed and so has the product- it was a waste of time and money, it didn’t work and definitely wouldn’t recommend it
