Far better than plastic or ceramic versions!

A must have upgrade to the traditional Hario dripper. Holds heat better for a more even coffee extraction, and looks amazing in the coppery rose gold. Genuinely miles better than the plastic and more durable than the ceramic.

leaky after 4 uses; bottom not flat so doesn't balance easily on flask/thermo cup; big hole at bottom design means that generic filter papers (rather than Hario brand) often bust, dumping grounds into vessel below. All in all, stressful coffee making. Returned and going back to plastic job for £4! Embarrassing as I bought it for hubby as a wedding anniversary gift. Poor. Impressed with Amazon's returns system though (once I'd found it after quite some digging).

Metallic taste added to coffee despite the inner nickel plating. Had to go back to ceramic.

The joint between cone and plate is very weak. The two parts are crimped together and a little wobbling will weaken it to the point of failiure. I've had this for years and I've forgotten how many repairs I've done on it. In the end I gave up. If you're not very careful and keep an eye on the joint you'll end up with hot coffee ground or even hot water all over your hand. Don't listen to reviews by all those people with an exciting new toy. It is pretty, but the inherently weak construction makes it potentially dangerous.

I am turning a bit into a hobby barista with the beautiful Hario brewing accessories. Specifically brewing coffee with a V60 dripper never seemed exciting and rather a bit dangerous as the items used before could fall off the jars. Hario V60 is different. At first it looks beautiful. Then a silicon ring keeps it safe on top of every jar and mug and with the Hario paper filter the coffee just runs at the right time through. The result is a tasty coffee, which did not extract the acidy taste from the coffee beans what easily happens if a coffee stands for too long in a V60 dripper

As i need something beautiful this is best choices

mon expérience ? hé bien , ce porte filtre est très joli, et c'est agréable de s'en servir. Sinon, du point de vue fonctionnel, il n'a rien de particulier : ha si, il lui faut des filtres papiers particuliers car le fond est pointu. Mais j'ai trouvé la parade....
