In july of 2022 we had problems with a flea infestation. Not sure how they got in, but our every effort to deflea the cats proved ineffective, as they just seemed to keep returning within a matter of days or even hours. In the end, we used these in combination with Frontline+ droppers, Flea killer spray and some fleakiller tablets, and we've not had a problem with fleas since.

After the hot weather we have had and now the super bad cold our dog has been in since October after having a puppy and my cat the same she had kittens and they went out once and have come in and fleas have arrived and even worse with having the heating on so we did one room and the pets but we didn't bomb our bedroom just cleaned and changed all bedding and beds and blankets and toys and sprayed our mattress and curtains but eggs have some how hatched so back at it again but these little guys along side flea tablets for pets and spray for sofa beds and pets and they'll soon be gone and no eggs are left just make sure you do as it says as it gets smokey very fast also we blocked under the doors with towels so smoke didn't leave and make sure you give as. Long as you can to air even more so people who have breathing issues as the smoke can longer for a while and make sure you put it on a plate or some thing like that and not just on a table or flooring even wooden floors as, they can fall over etc but all round amazing. Value and. They work don't waste money on expensive sprays and treatments simple cheap body and house spray, flea tablets and these little things and your sorted and it works out cheaper than what a shop or vets would advise you to buy

Courtesy of my neighbours cat who gave birth to seven kittens at mine and then proceeded to give them fleas at about the eight week mark I've ended up with a flea infested living room (I sensibly kept them confined to one room). After they'd all gone I could safely go for a full on blitz. Bob Martin's had a good name and the reviews were a bit uneven but I thought I'd give them a try. First two bombs (Ithought I'd double up)- one fizzed for a few seconds then nothing while the other put out smoke at a dribble for about ten seconds. This just seemed to annoy the fleas as when I hoovered later and emptied the Vax into a white bin bag there seemed to be more than the last hoovering about four hours earlier and they were ricocheting off the inside of the bag. Still bitten to bu--ary the next day so repeated the process. This time both of them put out a reasonable amount of smoke to the same result ie no difference in the amount of fleas biting me and no difference in the amount of live fleas hoovered up. At this point I gave up on Bob Martins and tried another type of bomb which has worked a lot better and they are gradually being killed off although it's going to take a couple more "bombings" from what I can see but compared to £300 for a professional I'll carry on plus the alternative bombs cost a faction of the Bob Martins. The Bob Martins bombs were a complete waste of money. They weren't consistent in either the fuses or the amount of smoke given out which wasn't very much even when they worked properly. They did not kill the fleas at all. In a word.. rubbish.

We have quite a large living room with a high ceiling so used 2 at once. The candles are smaller than expected but release a considerable amount of smoke for their size. This is not thick dense smoke which could make you cough or give you trouble extracting once finished, quite the opposite. The instructions on the bottle say to open a window 2 hours after the candle has burned out. We left it over night placed on a fireproof tray. When we woke the following morning the room looked like it had a thin lay of mist. We opened the window and it was gone within a few minutes. The smell is actually quite nice, slightly floral, it didn't linger for long once fresh air entered the room. This product really works. Our soft furnishings were not damaged in any way nor smelt as though they had been washed in chemicals. We have noticed a considerable difference in the amount of scratching and itching from our pets. As flea eggs hatch 10 days after we decided to do another one. This was more precautionary than anything else but are confident the first time with 2 bombs did the trick

Did what it should, alot of smoke ,could smell it for a couple of days but not to bad & as I expected. Will buy again in the future
