lasts for a long long time. fades into teal and more greener over time which is still very pretty. stays a nice shade after a few washes.

A beautiful dark blue color that goes on smoothly and easily. I have medium dark hair so I bleached before applying. (I used Manic Panic's Amplified Bleach. If you are doing a lot of hair, or your hair is long, I would get 2 bleach kits if you are using this particular brand.) Manic Panic is easy to apply - just apply the color where you want it, leave it (I left it for about an hour), rinse out. And rinse out. And rinse out. lol Expect to turn your towel blue - for the next couple of washes. The less you wash your hair, the longer it stays. After a few washes, this color will turn a light turquoise color. (Still pretty.) Right after coloring, be careful - ANYTIME your hair gets wet, the color WILL run. (It will also get under your nails when you scratch your head.) These minor annoyances don't bother me enough to stop using Manic Panic...but I would want to know this stuff before I used it. Bottom Line: Manic Panic is the BEST product out there for coloring your hair funky shades. It lasts much longer than any other brand I've tried, it's easy application makes re-touches "cake", and the colors are bold and brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to use this brand, or color, again.

Love this shade of blue. It's definitely cheaper to order it on here not in the 3 pack and instead just buy 3 separately. Don't be fooled. It does stain the bathtub/towels the 1st and 2nd wash so be careful.

I am a Joico dye loyalist. Manic Panic and every other dye never crosses my mind, I want my Joico dye or bust. It just works for me and never fails - but due to the pandemic Joico dye is in short supply and I could not find the blue I wanted. So I was forced to go with Manic and I don't really regret it. I used half of a jar of Blue Moon diluted with 3/4's of the amount of conditioner to get the look I did and left it on for about three hours. It is very vibrant I will admit, my hair doesn't feel weird like with other dyes (looking at you splat) and hasn't bled too much. However it's just not as vibrant as Joico is, so I miss that extra luster that Joico has. It also still noticeably bleeds a lot more than my prefered dye, and my pillow is rather unhappy after sleeping on it even with dry hair for the last week. It looks good, went well and works but, I think I will be going back to Joico when they restock.

It was a bright, vivid blue color that stayed in my hair for quite some time, although it did keep fading.

I have thick black, curly hair, so I wasn’t sure which company would make the best dye suitable for me, especially since blue isn’t an easy color to achieve on black hair. But this product was very good, the blue does turn into green after a while but it stayed a good 5 weeks or so, I’d recommend if your hair sounds similar to mine but make sure to get strong bleach to go along with it

I love this hair color(blue moon). It never disappoints . The color lasts for very long tho the color changes from blue to green but I like that as well .

So glad I found this dye. I have thick hair that doesn't hold colour very well and I have tried several colours from MP and several blue shades, but this one holds in my hair the best. I never retouch it because it stays so long. It fades like any MP dye, but because this dye stains so well, I never see my bleached hair peak through the fading process like I do with other MP dyes. It stays bold and look like it kind of changes colour rather than loses colour in my opinion. Very impressed.
