lasts for a long long time. fades into teal and more greener over time which is still very pretty. stays a nice shade after a few washes.

It was a bright, vivid blue color that stayed in my hair for quite some time, although it did keep fading.

Nice smoothe blue. Dosent smell much Would be nice if it came with gloves. Lasts maybe 4 washes before fading. Not enough product for the money though.

So I was iffy on buying this. I haven't used any kind of color on my hair for, wow, several year. I used to dye it a lot when I was younger, then around thirty I decided, hey, one day i'll go gray and probably (maybe) feel like I HAVE to dye it, so why not just wait till then? For the record, my hair has been blue before (long ago, in a lifetime far far away). Also, everyone (when I was younger) told me how pretty my hair was, and how much money other people paid to have highlights like that, blah blah, the point is, haven't used any color for years. Anyways, I have very dark brown hair with some natural red highlights, now i'm in my early 40's, no greys yet (yay me!) but kinda bored with myself and life, and blue is my favorite color. So. I didn't expect this dye to do much on my color, especially since I wasn't really interested in bleaching any part of my hair first (I know the color would last more, but I have very long, waist length hair, and I'm not really interested in having to cut any of it off because of dryness, breakage, etc.) OK, so I did some random streaks, full length and, it worked! I was totally surprised (and thrilled). The color is more of an indigo than dark blue, I guess, but really, I don't care, because it worked, and now it's been a couple weeks, i'll have to do it again if I want to keep it up (not so easy for my profession). Anyways, i'm thrilled with this, I'm actually shocked on how well it worked on my dark hair, which is once again, not black, but a very dark brown. No complaints here, you will have different results if you're hair is blonde or you bleach it first, but even for true brunettes, it does work!

My kid finally wants to go the way of his mom back in the day. But he keeps trying to use all this drug store crap that never lasts, is expensive and in some "salony" type form. Finally, I did what all good moms do, "just let me do it." Manic Panic- smells decent and has all the best colors for your nuanced individuality needs. Mix and Match if you want. You don't need a brush or squeeze bottle because those are for p**sies. Put your gloved hand in a jar and get it done. Of course it comes off everywhere because that's what happens. The more intense the color, and the longer you leave it on, the more staying power you will get. Sleep in a shower cap with it on your hair if you have to. Have your hair dye only/dog towels at the ready and rock it out like your grandma did when M.P., Special Effects, and P.C. were your only alternative to drained magic markers.! Manic Panic will be around longer than the corporate giants dipping their toe into the preteen unicorn market because, like almost all of their dye colors, they have staying power.

The color is better than the green

Love this shade of blue. It's definitely cheaper to order it on here not in the 3 pack and instead just buy 3 separately. Don't be fooled. It does stain the bathtub/towels the 1st and 2nd wash so be careful.

I have thick black, curly hair, so I wasn’t sure which company would make the best dye suitable for me, especially since blue isn’t an easy color to achieve on black hair. But this product was very good, the blue does turn into green after a while but it stayed a good 5 weeks or so, I’d recommend if your hair sounds similar to mine but make sure to get strong bleach to go along with it

I love this hair color(blue moon). It never disappoints . The color lasts for very long tho the color changes from blue to green but I like that as well .

So glad I found this dye. I have thick hair that doesn't hold colour very well and I have tried several colours from MP and several blue shades, but this one holds in my hair the best. I never retouch it because it stays so long. It fades like any MP dye, but because this dye stains so well, I never see my bleached hair peak through the fading process like I do with other MP dyes. It stays bold and look like it kind of changes colour rather than loses colour in my opinion. Very impressed.
