Does this fan (matte black) come with a hand held remote? The descriptions says it does but some older reviews say it does not.

We purchased two of these fans,,,,and no, there is no handheld remote. The controls are integrated into the wall switch plate, which we love because we can’t lose a remote this way.

This fan is rated 160V and the normal voltage is 120V. Is there any special considerations for the power set up to meet the specified voltage?

No special setup. Normal 110V/120V US house current.
