Good Product, Works as Described
I was pleased with the product. I placed the corner guards on the tables and actually tapped them gently with a hammer to set them. This step was not in directions but I dont have a lot of hand strength and I wanted to be sure they would stick. My grand son was able to pry off one or two, but I put them right back on quite easily. I doubt any temporary guard is completely child proof. They are flexible to a certain extent and soft enough to help reduce injuries.I did try to purchase just the adhesive tabs so I could reuse the guards at a later date, however, the adhesive is not available separately. This is disappointing as I'd have to purchase a whole new set. That seems so wasteful. The company sent me a new set upon my request. All in all, these corner guards worked as described, were easy to place and remove with no damage to furniture, and had great customer service.

Useless garbage
I really should have known better....smooth TPU/vinyl plastic is pretty much impervious to adhesive, so the sticky backing on this product does next to nothing. I followed the directions and cleaned the mounting surfaces with alcohol, and also make sure that they were held in position (with packing tape) for more than 48 hours after installation, to allow the adhesive to take hold (yes, I was careful when eventually removing the tape). After doing all of this, nearly all of the bumpers fell off from their own weight within an hour or two. Some were mounted on the top surface of the corners, while others were positioned on the bottom of the corners (again, with tape to support them initially) - only two of the top mounted protectors are still in place, and only barely so - I could easily brush them to the ground with the swipe of a pinky. I also purchased long bumper strips made of the same material (for protecting vertical wall corners), and it has the exact same problem. The adhesive will stick to the mounting surface just fine, but it won't stick to the smooth plastic of the protectors themselves. Unless you plan to nail or screw these into the intended surface, they are completely useless in my opinion. They might stick better if you sand down the surface of the plastic first to provide some texture for the adhesive to stick to, but who wants to do that (if it would even work).Don't be fooled by the sleek appeal of slim, clear plastic protector products like these - only the bulky foam protectors actually stick unfortunately (since they have tiny pores for the adhesive to work themselves into).

Exactly what I needed
The protectors are perfect for what I needed them for. When I slide my stand mixer out of the corner, it can bump the corner of the cabinet. I was worried about damage to the cabinets and/or mixer. I cleaned the cabinet and the protector went on without a problem and has stayed on for the last few days without any sign of coming off. It’s not a hard plastic but a softer rubbery feel, which is perfect for what I needed. I’m a little concerned with how sticky it is and that I might have some trouble removing it down the line but I’ll try a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive before removing it, which I believe will help.Only downside is I now have the rest of the box when I only needed one. I almost started looking for corners to put them on but stopped myself. Lol

Pretty good, but the adhesive isn't great
These corners are soft and look minimalist so they don't stand out (compared to non-clear options at least), which I like. I really like everything about them except the adhesive. It doesn't seem to be that strong and I can see it's pulling off on some areas already after less than a week. I used denatured alcohol to clean any oil and grease off the surface before using, but it didn't seem to do much so I chalk it up to just being weak adhesive tape. They are staying on for now, but everywhere the tape didn't stick you can clearly see the bubble underneath which is magnified by the lensing effect of the rounded rubber bumper. It sort of defeats the point of using clear materials so it blends in. I worry that they will fall off in less than a year. I guess the up side is that they're cheap enough so that putting new ones on won't be the end of the world.

Good but Not Great -- 3.5 Stars
These work pretty well when installed ON TOP of a protruding corner, although I suspect any serious toddler could wrench them off pretty easily. I bought them to protect my senior-citizen self from sharp, pointy furniture and cabinet edges that tend to "bite" my thinning skin as I pass, and they work well for that. Unfortunately, they do NOT stick at all well to the underside of corners that also need cushioning. I've tried adding some Scotch-brand clear poster stickums to add additional grip, but with limited success. Am about to resort to clear packing tape and hope for the best in terms of not damaging the finish of the cabinets/furniture too much. The cushioning aspect is great, if only they stuck better. I carefully alcohol wiped all areas and let them dry before installing them, so the problem is not user error as far as I can tell. They cushion better than other similar items I've "auditioned" so I'm going to keep trying to make them stay stuck instead of slowly sagging off the undersides to the floor or countertop. Fingers crossed!

Worry no more
Whether it be children, pets, or if you're clumsy yourself, these definitely help knowing that any sharp edges won't be so much of a worry. Easy to apply and adhesive just as durable. From glass table tops to sharp dresser drawers, cover what you need to add that extra security. The guards have two strips to remove in order to apply. The adhesive will sit atop the surface allowing the guard to cover the top and side edges.
