Review: what i ordered - great quality, much more information than i expected, ideal thank you Review: great well written book - this is a great book for intrest, nice style of writing, concentrates on the more traditional methods, which is fine, as i think if you are interested in the subject it all adds knowledge, i was intrested in the air still, it does mention it as a product, explains its principle but thats all, but as a general book to stimulte the brain this is simple enough, concise enough, and is a great refrence book. well done the author.

Very well written
Best book for beginners. I’ve brought 3 books, all three had great reviews and this was by far the best. I searched a while before buying all three, trying to find the 3 best and this was the best of the 3. It’s written very simple and straight forward. Goes into enough detail to make it informative. And the structure of the book is perfect. Some of the other books I’ve read seem to be a bit muddled. Everything in the book flows and by the time you get to the end all bases have been covered

A solid intro to distilling
An excellent book both for beginner and intermediate distillers. Written primarily for the american market but does have metric quantities for volume and temperature etc (will america ever come into 21st century on weights and measures). The writer - Rick Morris - portrays a solid understanding of all aspects of both production and chemistry of spirit manufacture at the hobbyist level (or probably most aspects, but I cant find fault with his writing). I did read the book from cover to cover and enjoyed it. Good value for money.

Bit disappointing
Written in very folksy style that may not be to everybody’s taste. Some good general information but insufficient detail to even begin distilling. Good for a couple of hours browse, not for later reference. Mind you, not that there are many comprehensive books out there …..

A great insight into home distilling.
Really well written book, covers all the details of the various processes used from start to finish and makes a great read. If your interested in starting distilling, certainly worth checking out.

Basic but clearly written and solid
Whereas an experienced distiller might find this book far too basics, it is instead excellent for a beginner. Concepts, equipments and techniques are explained nicely, and the writing is pleasant too.

Se ne può fare a meno
Si perde più in aspetti non direttamente legati alla distillazione. Niente di fondamentale per chi vuole conoscere le tecniche di distillazione

Knowledge
Nobody's a expert at something until they first learn about it. Extremely useful. A few things didn't make sense to me but mostly useful.
