Pure Nootropics 7,8-DHF (7,8-Dihydroxyflavone) 25 mg, 90 Capsules

I was already taking a cistanche and ginkgo biloba combo. I mixed this in, and after a few weeks I feel like my brain is reaching gain of function! I also take creatine and drink energy drinks every day, I am 38 and feel more capable than when I was 28.

Hard to tell.

I do NOT recommend this supplement. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others because this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a supplement. In my opinion, 7,8-DHF is far too pharmacologically active to be sold as a dietary supplement. It felt much more like taking a prescription drug than taking a typical vitamin or supplement. While I was taking it, I developed persistent insomnia that did not improve even when I took it first thing in the morning. When I combined it with piperine, which can increase the absorption of some compounds, the insomnia became even worse. The worst part happened after I stopped taking it. I experienced severe depression despite never having been depressed before in my life. I also became emotionally flat. Things that normally brought me joy, including exercise, no longer made me feel anything. It was frightening because I genuinely did not feel like myself anymore. This did not last for a few days or even a couple of weeks. It took months before I finally felt normal again. For months after discontinuing the supplement, I struggled with depressive symptoms that I had never experienced before. In my personal opinion, it felt like my brain had adapted to the compound in some way, although I cannot say what the exact biological mechanism was. I understand that everyone responds differently, but my experience was severe enough that I believe people should approach this compound with extreme caution. This is not something I think should be sold as an ordinary dietary supplement. Cons: * Severe depression after stopping, in my personal experience * Recovery took months before I felt like myself again * Persistent insomnia while taking it * Worse insomnia when combined with piperine * Emotional blunting * In my opinion, far too potent to be marketed as a standard dietary supplement I cannot recommend this product based on my experience. If I had known there was even a possibility of this happening, I never would have taken it.

This product works great. If you do or think you suffer from ADHD this supplement helps you stay focused and gives you the motivation to get up and do things. It's definitely changed my life.

I don’t see where this has any effect at all does not help with energy does not help with sleep, low energy … nothing

Product seems to be as described based on taking it sublingually (ideal ROA for 78dhf - open the capsule). However, the bottle stinks like sour lettuce. Absolutely rancid. I haven't had a powder of 78dhf smells like this and to my knowledge the caps and fillers shouldn't have this smell either. Seems to be the capsules and not the powder. I buy caps for travel and am undecided on trying these again due to this.

I think this is a good anti-depressant but I was t depressed when I took it. The main thing I recognized as an effect was extremely heightened suggestibility. I was questioning my core worldviews so often after taking this. I think this is a good sign that it does activate BDNF/TRKB signaling. The effect of these pills seems strongest 7-10 hours after taking them.
