Cast Iron Sundial on Stand 92cm High

This wasn't a hugely expensive item so did wonder if the quality would be acceptable - but it's actually really lovely, very solid and heavy and a good size. I bought it to go on a raised flower bed on our terrace and it looks most impressive there, surrounded by plants. Have no idea how you get it to actually tell the time - I suspect it is purely decorative. There weren't really any instructions to tell you how to put it together, simply a picture of how the end result should look, but it isn't hard to work it out.

I needed something small but eye catching to spruce up the garden, and this sundial checks all the boxes. It isn't outrageously priced, it's small but mighty, and it looks stunning. It comes with a rustic patina, which I love! Hubby put a coat of clear lacquer on it to keep that antique look. He wanted to take it back to the original black, but I was having none of it! The company is great to deal with as well. The first sundial was faulty, but returning and replacing it was a breeze.

Arrived very promptly.Looks good in the rustic stain like it's been around for a while, but then again any iron ages fast if not treated.It's sat out on the patio at the moment just doing its best to look cool and authentic, I'll spend some time next year setting it up and bolting it to the floor so it can't be knocked then I'll let you know if it actually works.The instructions were a bit blurred, but if you can't look at the picture on here and suss it out maybe hand your driving license back to the DVLA.There were no instructions as to how to set it up, but plenty of vids on you tube and some other like minded souls have already added the instructions in their reviews.All in all, let's see you buy the materials, manufacture and ship this beauty for £30 odd quid, bargain.

It looks good in the garden. Not very tall, people need to check the size of their garden before purchasing it as it looks small in our big garden.

Nice product however akey connecting screw is missing so I cannot put the dial together. No help available so now I have to organise a return. Disappointing.

really strong and sturdy, looks authentic and easty to put together. I will use it to tell the time. An amazing sundial and looks a lot more expensive than it is. Bargain!

After reading a few 'marmite' reviews I was a little hesitant about buying this for my father's 75th birthday. But is was sturdy, easy to assemble (however, there are no instructions) and looks good. My father was thrilled as he loves old 'gadgets' and anything new for his garden.

I chose a 4 star rating because it looks good in the garden and is unusual and unlike most sundials. I like the rustic look of it. It is just about the right size and can be placed in a number of different parts of the garden. It is rather fiddly to get it positioned correctly so that the sun shadow strikes the correct number for time of day but once achieved it works well - when the sun is out!I would recommend it to a gardener who likes unusual things in his garden. My husband, a gardener, was pleased with it.

bon produit en fonte fait son poids donc stable. surpris par la taille, car le fournisseur annonce "hauteur du support 92 cm", il faut comprendre du pied jusque la pointe de la flêche. Sinon je le trouve précis à 5/10 mn

El pedido inicial venia incompleto. Me repusieron inmediatamente uno nuevo. El articulo es como lo imaginaba pues esta bien identificado en sus medidas. Pesa y se sostiene sin problemas en cualquier lugar, cesped, piedra etc .Perfecto y muy decorativo.
