What a fantastic piece of kitchen equipment! Last year I struggled to make pork pies for Christmas by shaping hot water crust pastry over a jam jar (a maddeningly slow and frustrating process), and so thought I would try using a proper wooden 'dolly' mould this year instead. As I looked into buying a dolly I realised that it would only allow me to make one pie at a time, so I hunted around for a pie tin instead. This one does the trick PERFECTLY! It is robustly made out of heavy carbon steel and it is beautifully non-stick. Comes up a treat after washing. The removable bases make it so easy to turn out your finished pies too. It was all so easy, I got a bit carried away making different types of pork pie - made way too many so we have a stash of them in the freezer now! But as soon as we have gobbled our way through them, I'll be making more!

Great piece of kit. I made the pork pies from Pall Hollywood's recipe which comes with the tin. They simply glide out as the tin is so non-stick. The tin has a lovely reassuring weight, too and doesn't feel in any way flimsy. My only comment is about the recipe as I found the quantity of pastry was not enough for 6 pies - more like 4. Plus I needed more than the stated quantity of meat in each pie. But the pies I made were delicious!

Great quality item and at a very good price having seen it for almost double the amount I paid for it. Very good quality, sturdy tin. Feels heavy and good quality. All I need to do now is get making some pork pies!!!

I have been looking for small pork pie tins for some time you can get the large size no trouble at all. these tins are perfect to male the average pork pie. Thanks you Paul. a real good product as well. very pleased.

Worst mini pan I've ever used. The recipe that comes with the pan didnt make enough to fill it. It took over an hour to fill each one with just the pastry, then didnt have enough pastry for the top, even rolled out thinner than normal. The size of cutter they tell you to use is wrong, too small. Too much pastry to eat for the amount of filling. The cavities need to be wider for more filling to balance out with the pastry. Do not recommend, wish I could return it.
