Good case for my desktop computer
I wanted to move my desktop computer to my homelab server rack to save space. Rails are coming tonight so it's not installed yet but I did confirm it fits fine in standard 3u slot. There weren't many options for server case that would fit a full atx mobo and a full sized atx psu. As per the pictures they all fit with no issues. Hard drive cage can be removed easily if you have a longer graphics card (it's about 16 inches of space and my card is 11 inches. I always go with noctua fans and toss out any case fans. All the screws come with it except cage nuts (which i have a million of anyway). I had to get a lower profile cpu fan/heatsink. The one pictured is be quiet pore rock slim 2. My old one was 6.5 inches and there is roughly 6.25 inches clearance from cpu to the case cover. Find a cpu heatsink under 6 inches. The pcie power cord does fit but just barely with the lid on. I'm worried it will put slight downward pressure on the graphics card over time so I have a 90 degree adapter coming tomorrow (just search 90 degree pcie adapter and there are some 10-15 dollar options). It's very solid and a bit heavier than I expected. Not a pro or a con necesarily. When I tried to install without rails it was heavy enough to make it hard to manage. Def need some server rails with the weight of this tank. Not much else to say. Its a solid case and doesn't break the bank.

Great case to mod
great case to mod. its very large and has enough room to do what you want. very sturdy even cut up. however i do suggest rails cause fully built it weighs a TON lol

Good case
Everything fits in it pretty well, tons of space! I think the measurements for motherboard placement are a smidge off because it was a little too snug for my liking around the rear IO and slotting expansion cards was a challenge. I was afraid I was going to break them trying to put them in but they eventually went in. Could also just be my motherboard (Gigabyte C246M). But after installation it’s a very study enclosure.

Very Nice Case
Overall, this is a great case, The build quality is solid, and the layout is good. The case has plenty of capacity for drives, and the cages are easy to remove to add more. The filters will keep dust from building up as much on the interior, which translates to better cooling. The only shortfall for me was the fan. If you are placing this in a data center rack, the fan noise won't be an issue. It is for me though, since I'm using the computer in a rack with audio recording gear. I replaced the stock fan with a Noctua NF-P12 (Amazon B07CG2PGY6). Now it's very quiet and doesn't cause issues when recording. It's four and a half stars for me, but five stars for anyone not needing low noise.

Solid case, Front usb non functional
This is a great case to build in, i appreciate the ability remove the uneeded drive cages in leu of longer pcie cards. Only con for the case is the front usb is non functional out of the box. Tested the usb ports on the motherboard in a different case and they worked, therefore the fault must be in the case

this is THE perfect server case for homelabbers
this is THE perfect server case for homelabbers plenty of mounts for all sizes of motherboards, cable management is very easy to ensure the best air flow, can fit full size gpu's with room to spare. Make sure that you purchase the hot-swap cage that's also available from the same seller. For noise grab 2 noctua vent fans for the back (60mm) and a noctua 120mm for the front for HDD cooling. its virtually quiet afterwards

Great value case
In my endeavour to set up my own home server rack I found that this stuff is really expensive. This relatively inexpensive case exceeded all of my expectations. It's incredibly heavy duty, everything is metal from what I can tell except the filter cages. Even the swing out doors are metal and I 100% expected plastic. The only issue I ran across is my CPU cooler was just a couple mm too tall for the cross beam support to remain in place. It's removable by 4 screws and did not seem to compromise the structural integrity by removing it. One thing that I imagine being a deal breaker to a lot of people is GPU fitment. If you're utilizing the 3.5" HDD bays then a full length gaming GPU will not fit. The HDD cage can be removed. With a short card like my 2060, both the GPU and HDDs will fit.

Homelab away!
I have two cats that shed more than anything and the filters on this unit are perfect for stopping the stray hair and dust from going into the case. The LED is a bit bright on the front, especially if you're configuring this in your room/home. I wish it were togglable. The lock is super solid and keeps me from accidentally shutting down the server. I was able to get two standard fans in and one smaller noctua server fan on the back. It keeps the temps relatively cool and the server happy. Lots of room, was able to fit a full-sized GPU into it (3060), full-ATX board, and my 4 HDDs easily. Looks pretty standard. You're not going to hear a ton of compliments, but it's a homelab, what more do you need. Noise kinda depends on what fans you use, I will say it's decent at keeping the volume down, but with louder fans, you'll hear them clearly - no sound dampening or anything. For the price, I'm absolutely satisfied with my purchase and would definitely grab a unit again. It may be a BIT overkill, but for people that need full-sized GPUs and full size ATX mbs, it's a must have.

I got this to replace my PC case, Everything fit like a glove. Some points to consider: Cons: - It only holds up to 2x 2.5'' SATA drives - There's not obvious points for fan mounting - You need to buy 2x60mm fans for the back of the case to move air out of the case. - Front fan isn't loud but it also isn't very powerful - Front handles are too large (Can't close doors on rack) Pros: - Large format GPUs will fit - Front USB ports seem to have been upgraded to 3.1 - Full ATX PSU fits with ample space

Bought this case to replace a tower case that was sitting in my wall mount rack awkwardly taking up space. Initial impressions are the build quality better than expected, the sheet metal is fairly thick and sturdy. The case was easy to work in with ATX MOBO and PSU as well as 8 HDDs on the rail. A few downsides, USB is only 2.0, the pre-installed fan is fairly noisey but just tossed in a noctua 120mm I had. Also, disappointed that Rackchoice doesn't sell a rail kit for this case (At least can't find one). All and all, this 4u rack mount case is something I've wanted for awhile, and I'm happy I finally got it!

I needed a new rack mount case to move an older i7 9700K based PC into for use as a backup and transcoding server running Unraid. I didn't want to spend a whole lot so I figured I'd take a chance at this case. As it turns out, it was perfectly fine for this purpose, even with a few shortcomings. If you are planning to use this with just lots of drives for storage, space should not be an issue but cable management might be a bit of a pain. In my case, I am using an RTX 2080TI for transcoding and other things and it would only fit because I only have four 3.5" drives installed. If you are fully populating the drive bays, you will need a shorter card. The usual caveats apply for inexpensive cases; a cheap noisy fan included using molex (!), punch outs for the PCI cards, and a slightly off fit where the motherboard is off angle by a couple of millimeters inside the case. And not surprisingly, cable management isn't outstanding. I did order a couple of Noctua 60mm fans for the rear and will likely just keep the el cheapo in the front since this server is going to be living in the rack in a furnace room in my basement so I don't have to hear it. I'm not going to hold these shortcomings against it being that it's one of the cheapest cases I could find but just an FYI. I had to take off the side rabbit ears since this case is on a set of Startech rack rails and doesn't line up with the rack properly. Not a huge deal in my situation. This case is probably good enough for many purposes. Update - 2025-01-22: I replaced the cheap front fan with a Noctua 120mm. Turns out I could hear the cheap fan whining every from down the hall in my office. Server is quite quiet now using one 120mm and two 600mm Noctua fans.

Perfect to transfer a desktop system to a rack case, very easy to work with - Note that if you are using a "name brand" motherboard such as HP or Dell you may also need to move power switches, sensors or other items over as another poster here suggested. This case also does not have a PC speaker (beeper)

Good value case but it has its issues too. You need to purchase your own 60 mm fans, the drive cage location will interfere with anything more than a single card GPU. The included single fan to cool the drive cage is a single stage Molex powered fan I would suggest replacing. My solution was to 3d print a mechanism to hold my drives in the 5.25” area but I realize that’s not an option for all so wanted to state some of the limitations.
