Rustins Wood Dye 250ml Antique Pine

This was exactly what I wanted a wood product to add some colour to my bench. It soaked in very well to the wood and has made the tired looking bench is 100% better looking. Going to buy more so that I can give it another paint at the end of the year before I cover it for the winter

This dye/stain goes on super easily and provides a lovely natural look to the wood grain. I have applied using a brush then wiping off and with a lint cloth. Both methods work well. For the colour I require, I have put 2 coats on - I am applying it to soft wood (pine) skirting and staircase. The effect is very pleasing and I would use again. No long lasting smell nor oily finish. So much better than the DIY store stains/paints. The picture shows the natural pine of the skirting phased in with one coat of Light Oak in the middle and two coats of Justin's on the left hand side. I have opted for 2 coats for a slightly darker look. I like it so much I am using it on chairs and stools around the home to co-ordinate.

Not easy to get the right colour with different hard woods bet it did it ok

I used this to stain a newly stripped garden bench. The original wood was pine so I chose light oak. This has produced a colour with a touch of brown but not orange or which some stain I had in stock would have done. After varnishing the bench looks like new.

This product goes a long way. I stained a very large table and only used half the tin. It also dried very quickly. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. More than pleased. Ray Pring

Colour a bit thin, have previously purchased a lot stronger. All down to the manufacturer.

Good quality wood stain. I used to patch up faded wood colour after sanding and before varnishing on my old red mahogany doors.Had become worn below door handles. Almost a perfect colour match and barely noticeable.

Shake very very well before use to ensure its all mixed up well but good product. Spreads well.
