OXO Good Grips Angled Baster with Cleaning Brush

Best baster I could ask for.Yes it can be expensive but it is worth it.It goes in the dishwasher and nothing has rubbed off. It has a little stand so nothing is touching the kitchen surfaces.It's very simple and easy to use. Easy to clean as you can remove the parts. It's light, does not leak, and it's very good quality.

It’s a jug that.has a strainer on the top as a lid and a unique way of allowing the liquid out the bottom directly.The theory is simple. Pour your meat juices etc in and after a while the oil &fat will float to the top and form a separation. Once separated pull the handle trigger mechanism and the heavier fluid will come ot the bottom.I use mine when doing pulled pork in the smoker after the wrap and then I use the separated mixture of meat stock, apple juice and cherryade as a base for a sweet BBQ sauce.It’s easy to clean and you can easily flip the valve bar open to allow good flow through when washing. The two niggles I have are:1. Very minor but you can’t remove the rubber bung valve part at the bottom of the jug to give it a very thorough soak when cleaning.2. The strainer Lid doesn’t click in place and is quite loose. The amount of times I’ve dropped that part!!!However I am pleased I chose this jug over the older cheaper version with the long spout

I really like it, it makes basting any roast a breeze and super quick as it's a big tube! Also great for transfering juices to a gravy boat.Only one issue I found out the hard way is that if you fill it then tip it backwards too quickly (to transfer to elsewhere) then all the liquid shoots out the end! I was not expecting this and it must be something to do with the pressure and size of the tube, being thicker by the handle. So just don't tip it quickly to try to catch the liquid lol

This is the best baster I've bought do far.It's massive in size. Easily baste a big turkey. I have many other OXO branded kitchen items and they are the best quality I've ever known.As you can see ifln the photos the nozzle and rubber suction handle can be easily removed for washing.I wouldn't recommend this in the dishwasher incase the markings and measurements become faded or scratched off because I know some items do get scratched in dishwashers. It's easy to wash my hand anyways. It comes with a cleaning brush which is so handy.It also comes with a little plastic stand on the tube part of the baster, as seen in photos. To stop the baster dripping onto the counter top.Simple and easy to use. Great size for the price.Highly recommended purchase for basting all meats!

Easy to use product, easy to read measurements can stop and start at will. Can’t tell how long it will last as only just bought it. But it will do as a replacement

Untried as yet. Looks flimsier than an OXO gravy separator I bought around 10 years ago. Also appears to have no temperature guidelines or guarantee! Was particularly poorly-packed: 𝗻𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝘅 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 and the (unsealed) plastic bag was just in a large brown paper bag with zero padding. Not very impressed but we'll see how it performs.
