Well deserved 5 stars
5-Star Review – AURSINC TinySA Ultra+ ZS406 Spectrum Analyzer Alright, let me just say—this little device punches way above its weight class. The TinySA Ultra+ ZS406 has completely surprised me in the best way possible. I gave it 5 stars, and here’s why: Ease of Use Right out of the box, this thing is ridiculously intuitive. The menu layout is straightforward, no guesswork, no hunting through layers of submenus. I was up and scanning signals in minutes—without needing to crack open a manual or hit YouTube. It just works. If you've got even a basic grasp of signal analysis, this will feel like second nature. If you're a beginner? It won't take long to get comfortable. Readability The screen is sharp, bright, and legible even in less-than-ideal lighting. The data presentation is clean—no clutter, no nonsense. Colors pop just enough to give clarity without distracting from what you're actually trying to see. Whether you're doing quick scans or locking onto a signal for detailed inspection, you're not going to be squinting or second-guessing. Consistent, Clear Readings This is where it earns serious respect. The readings are not only accurate, but repeatably accurate. No weird drift, no jittery signal noise that shouldn’t be there. Whether I'm monitoring RF noise in my workspace, checking transmitters, or just scanning for fun, the TinySA Ultra+ gives me consistent, reliable results every time. It’s fast, responsive, and most importantly—trustworthy. Final Word If you're on the fence about this unit—don’t be. Whether you're a hobbyist, a radio nerd, or someone who just needs to get clean spectrum data without a thousand-dollar rig, this is it. Compact, powerful, and polished. Solid 5/5. Absolutely worth it.

Quality ultra compact spectrum analyzer
What an amazing compact device! Very well made and portable spectrum analyzer. Noise level measurement and frequency / bandwidth adjustment adequate for most uses. Battery capacity is good. Construction grade is very good. Has internal LNA or can alternately be paired with external LNA for various bands. Use with PC applications which can both control and record analysis. Spectrum Analyzer in your pocket
What little testing I have done this thing is pretty awesome. I used it to tune an AA5 radio. I could never afford a full-size spectrum analyzer. I fits in your pocket and easy to carry.

Works well for a Tiny SA
So far works great. Bought to check levels on FM signal generators used to service vintage receivers. Fairley easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of space on my work bench.

Awesome for frequency coordination
The TinySA Ultra+ represents a significant upgrade from its predecessors, offering impressive functionality in a portable package. The 4-inch display provides excellent visibility of spectral data, with responsive touch controls and intuitive menu navigation. The frequency range from 100kHz to 5.4GHz covers most common applications, making it versatile for RF development and troubleshooting. The integrated signal generator function up to 900MHz is a valuable addition, effectively making this a 2-in-1 tool that reduces the need for separate test equipment. The hardware version 0.4.6 brings welcome stability improvements, though occasional software updates are still recommended for optimal performance. The included 32GB card provides ample storage for captures and sweeps. Performance-wise, the sensitivity and dynamic range are surprisingly good for the price point. The noise floor is manageable, and the frequency accuracy is reliable enough for most hobbyist and professional applications. The battery life is decent, lasting several hours of continuous use, though it's worth noting that intensive scanning can drain it faster. One minor consideration is the learning curve - while the interface is well-designed, newcomers to RF analysis should expect some time to become proficient. The documentation could be more comprehensive, but the active user community helps fill any knowledge gaps. For anyone working with RF systems, amateur radio, or wireless development, this analyzer offers exceptional value, providing professional-grade features in an accessible, portable format.
