Beautiful grey/blue rose print on an ivory background
• As another reviewer noted, the print is grey/ blue on an ivory background.•This cotton is a lovely Shirt cotton whilst not see through, factor in nude underwear such as an underdress or camisole in nude if you’re looking at the fabric for garments.Prep:• before washing;• I overlock both cut ends of all fabrics purchased. If you don’t have an overlocker simply make a very narrow hem or a rolled hem. This prevents fraying and knotting then loosing more workable fabric.Pre Shrink:• I pre-Shrink all my fabrics. But, Cottons I pre-shrink at 60 degrees and tumble dry them on high heat.This ensures that the fabric won’t shrink once I’ve made the garment.Also I do this generally on a high heat, so I know how the fabric will behave should I need to wash a stained garment on a high heat/boil. It’s alway best to pre wash any fabrics as you would expect to wash the finished garment. Most fabrics shrink.The fabric washed and ironed beautifully, the colours were fast and didn’t run.I’ll enjoy working with this fabric and wouldn’t hesitate to buy more.Above is a picture of the pre-ironed stage after washing. I’ll post pictures of the garment later on.

Really nice fabric from Rose and Hubble
I think the quality of this fabric will make a lovely dress or blouse. I am going to make a short sleeved shirt to go with some navy trousers I recently sewed. The rose print are a greyish/blue not a deep Navy as it looks on my laptop. Also the background is not white as described but more an ivory shade. I would like to give this fabric 4.5 stars due to the incorrect description otherwise I would have rated it 5*

lovely fabric
I have ordered this a few times. I love the pattern and the fabric is like Poplin. Very easy to work with and the pattern is clear and beautiful
