Very good value for money
I love this - it's great quality, comes in a good protective plastic case and the colours are fun. I first started playing a wooden recorder 50 years ago, then everyone moved on to the standard issue brown plastic recorder. Now, these bright and cheerful Yamahas' are a delight - modern progress with no loss of quality.

Good recorder. Looks cool, plays weel and I tune.
Good recorder. Perfectly in tune, as you'd expect from Yamaha, except for very highest notes in upper register which beginner players won't need much anyway. Transparent green colour looks very cool too. The only downside of transparent recorders is you get to see all your condensation/spit inside it! One slight problem is that the condensation builds up especially in the upper part near the mouthpiece and is actually quite hard to swab out. Some gets left even after washing under running tap. But another benefit of plastic recorder is that you CAN wash it out under running tap. Overall I love this recorder. It plays very well and has a great feel to hold and play.

Great quality product
I purchased this recorder along with another one in a different colour for my 6yr old grandaughters. I am very pleased with the quality and tone. The recorder is easy to clean as it dismantles into three pieces. I purchased cleaning rods separately as one is not included by the seller., but not a big deal, as they are not expensive.
