Bought the transformer for my elderly parents to use on their Eufy doorbell. The device exploded when plugging into the power socket mains. It literally separated from the casing and tripped the power in their property. My parents were shaken up! The device also does not fit UK sockets so needed to buy an adaptor at some expense. This is not the first review I have read on this item being a hazard. Amazon, do a thorough review of this product before you sell such things on your platform.

Bought this last November 2023 wasn't cheap you have to use a 2 bin adapter to plug it in to a uk socket just decided to use it today straight forward to wire plugged in powered up for seconds and then started to smoke, do not buy fire hazard amazon should not be selling these things if there not tested and don't me uk standards.

Probably my mistake but it's 30 odd quid down the swanie ITS 120 VOLT, NOT 240 VOLT

Works

Definitely works with Eufy doorbell. My doorbell only shows it's powered when it's charging. I was worried at first because I installed this on a full battery. It took a couple of weeks to show that it was doing it's thing. I read about this on a Eufy post. I don't think all doorbells are like that but mine is.

Item came on time and it works, no issues so far.

Used to power a Honeywell T6 C wire. Works just fine, plenty of current. Come with nice long wire, pre-tinned ends.

This was easy to install and keeps my doorbell charge. Do not plug it in and then try and install because you will get shocked. I ran my through my attic and had to buy additional wire. But none the less it still works and I’m very satisfied with this product.
