Perfect for reading mSATA SSDs from older computers that use them. I have a few left over from old NUCs and smaller form factor computers that have long since aged out and been recycled. The SSDs were still good so wanted to give them a second life. This effectively turns them into a flash drive with the added bonus of better read/write times. SSD just screws into the board with the included screws and screwdriver. Plug and play.

This allows me to use an old 1TB B+N m.2 SATA speed SSD with a new motherboard via the SATA 3 connection. Remember you have to flip the switch from mSATA to NGFF for the m.2 B+N to function. Easy to assembly and use.

My M&B NVMe fit perfectly in this 2.5" adapter. From there I was able to get my Window 11 system up and running with no issues. At the $7 I paid for this, I'd say it was a good deal. There is one issue that should be noted when purchasing: There is no real way for the heat to dissipate. The case is plastic and doesn't provide for any cooling. (This wasn't a problem for my usage as the system this drive is in sees very limited use.)

This works, but the USB soldered to the board is 30 degrees off of 90, so anything its plugged into it sits oddly, simple device, wasnt the quality i wanted for the price point, but still being used, and does work

Didnt feel like opening up a 27 inch late 2013 imac so I used this and a cheap msata ssd and its running os x smooth. Dont use it for much besides web browsing, worked right off the bat. Heads up MAC OS X supports running from an external drives, Windows does not really.

This product was flaky (it wouldn't stay connected to PC) and extremely slow when it was connected. I replaced this with an alternative from Sabrent which was rock solid and lightning fast.

Hey I mean, a video would be overkill. It did its job and it did it well.
