Brilliant product
After years of using silicon based sprays (only lasts a couple of weeks then fade) and gels (lasted slightly longer but attracted dust) I got fed up reapplying these and researched forums for a solution for getting my Mini Cooper bumpers back to original colour. Found this product which is essentially a plastic dye and claims to last about a year or more, seemed a good alternative, so took the plunge and bought it. Read as many reviews as possible to build a picture of how to use and what to expect. Did not use the product for about 6 months as we were coming into winter however this was a good thing as washing and weathering would help to remove previous silicon products which is imperative or the dye will cover the plastic and not penetrate it leading to a coating which will flake off. I washed the plastic with hot water and washing up liquid scrubbing the plastic first then rinsing. Then i used the cleaner provided in the Forever Black pack going round the plastic scrubbing again then rinsing. Next let the whole car completely dry off (any drips or runs down the body work will run over any dye applied and leave lighter run marks). Then using the foam brush apply thinly going round the car (avoid direct sunlight as this will dry the dye too quicky and makes it difficult to do leaving streaks or patchy looking coverage). Keep a damp cloth for wiping dye off paintwork immediately where plastic meets paint, it comes off paint easily if done immediately but the dye will stay on the plastic. Work the dye into the plastic one trim at a time ie wheel arch then side skirt then next wheels arch etc making your way round the car. Give each trim about 20min to dry then do again- i found as i went round the car by the time i got to where i started it had dried so i kept going round. There was some streaks and when looking a few inches from the surface while applying you would notice these and this annoyed me (as i wanted perfection) however going round again reduced the streaking. Once several coats had been applied i left the car with the intention of redoing the following week however now i have lived with it the imperfections are hardly noticable -it looks fantastic - i will likely give it another coating however anyone looking at it thinks looks excellent, car is over eight yrs old but this has transformed it. Prep is everything...do not rush to apply, Leave the car with no bumper resorer applied for a good few washes... scub the plastic a couple of times before applying then when applying Be patient and apply in thin coats evenly, drying between coats.

Made the car look like new but does fade so re-apply once/year
This works well and is easy to apply and makes the bumpers and all rubber/plastic parts look pretty much like new.The only thing is that it *does* fade and you need to do it again about once a year but like I wrote it is easy and quick.

It made my 1950's car look like a more improved 1950's car....
I wish.... I wish this product came in a smaller size. I have an elderly car, and only needed about 1/4 of what's in the bottle, but I'm sure to find someone else with an equally elderly car to use some more. It's an easy product to use, and treated oxidised rubber comes up black, shiny and new looking.Part of the application went on with a small paintbrush, in order to navigate those pesky crevices.Good stuff.

A truly brilliant product
A truly brilliant product that worked wonders on an 18 year old Ford Ka. As mentioned in previous reviews though, you really need to male sure that all the grease is removed before applying. The cleaner that comes with it isn't great at cutting through 18 years of silicone so I bought an aerosol can of Jizer that cut straight through it. Several layers were needed, due to the bumpers fading to a light grey of the years. I personally did the last coat using an old cloth, which left a streak free finish that can be difficult if you use the sponge applicator incorrectly. All in all though, a great semi-permanent solution to get your bumpers back to factory freshness.

Forever Black Bumper cleaner and Reviver, A Truly Great Product
Forever Black Bumper & Trim reviver and cleaner. My Grandson's Renault Clio 's bumpers were worn to a grey colour. I used this product which is so easy to apply and after 2 coats and 30 minutes both front and back bumpers and side trims were just like new, a truly fantastic product which did exactly what it said on the box. The applicator was easy to clean and re use. This has saved us a fortune because we didn't need to replace any parts.Truly a great product

Amazing product!!
Amazing!! Would 100% recommend! Worked wonders on my 2004 Corsa! I tried everything to restore the whiteness in the plastic on my car and nothing would work, a few products made it worse. The cleaner removed all previous products, and reviled worse whitening than in my "before" picture, the black dye takes a while to put on as I have a lot of plastic all around my car but is so with it. Would recommend 2 coats and on a windy day! Definitely would use again
