Chasseur Fondue Burner

Just the job! Our old fondue burner had got so ancient that, unknown to us until we went to use it, it had rusted through. However, we found this one online, at a far cheaper price than some, and we ordered it - not really expecting it to fit! However, it is a perfect replacement for the old one, and is a nice quality. Another 20 years before it rusts, hopefully!

This was purchased to replace the original burner which came with our fondue set. The top is a much better fit than on the original so air does not leak around the neck which results in much better control of the flame.

I thought this was expensive, but needed it desperately... it surprising really with things like this how you really do get what you pay for. in the 70s fondue sets were cheap, and the tools they came with cheap too.... and my issue was the fuel leaked, and could be quite dangerous... but this fondue burner is very secure fitting, not at all wobbly.. worth it if you want to get out your old fondue recipe books.

Not sure what is going on - I remember Chasseur as a quality brand. I received a cheap tinny item labelled Invicta. Seller assured me that it was the same - and different to the one being sold at £3.93 on Amazon. A close look at the manufacturer's barcode on each product suggests that they are indeed the same. I'm annoyed that I have to pay to return this.

poor intructions for use

Have had our fondue set for 25 years having purchased it when we lived in Germany. The burner finally corroded and we thought we wouldn't get a perfect replacement. This one is that perfect fit and is very solid too which means it should serve us a good few years too! Looking forward to resuming our fondue nights.
