Great product, on the louder side when operating
Rating this five stars because I used to have a pump that didn't work, and now i have this one and it works great. One thing to consider is where this will be located: my unit is in my basement in a small, not sound proof room next to where guests sleep, and they can hear every time this is running (which is only for a few seconds). odds are that your unit is in a much more tucked away location, but i would have opted for a quieter model had i known when i purchased this.

A perfect replacement for my HVAC condensate pump
The condensate pump for my HVAC system gave up the ghost and I looked on YouTube ( of course!) and the video said how easy it is to replace it. Thank you, Amazon. This took a total of five minutes to install and two months later it’s still working perfectly. Believe me I know nothing about plumbing and this was super simple.

Faulty Check Valve
I bought this to handle discharge water from an under the counter ice maker. It seems to work well. It operates quietly and cycles on and off as it should as the water chamber fills up. The problem I have is the check valve doesn't work on the ejection side. After it cuts off, it allows about 12" of water trapped in the 3/8" tubing above the unit to drain back into the chamber. I need that water to prevent sewer gas from making its way back to the pump. I now have to install an in-line 3/8" check valve to do what this condensate pump is supposed to do.

Very quite
Bought it to be quiet, it works. It holds plenty of water to run constant. It is an easy hook up but wish the power cord was longer. It limits where it can go. I had to wire in a new outlet to make it reach.
