Awesome green dot, didn’t like it for fn 510 …but placed on a shotty and looks and functions great !

Dont waste your money
The front glass piece blew off the red dot after I ran about 100 rounds threw my shadow system just go and buy a holosun 509t you'll be better off

Good design but not the greatest
The Kraken is a decent optic, has been durable enough to hold zero as my back up optic on my SCAR-17. And SCAR-17s are notorious to break electronics. My complaint is that it's foot print is proprietary and isn't compatible with the ACRO foot print which is kinda the standard. The base plate to mount the Kraken to a system is RMR compatible but adds hight. I originally got this to put on my sidearm with suppressor hight irons but the optic mounted too high and won't cowitness or lower 1/3 cowitness. If you get this and don't mind the optic hight and potentially not being able to use irons on sidearms go at it. But I'd recommend this as a back up optic to longer weapon systems.

Outstanding optic for the price! I have bought several Swampfox RMR's and am pleased with the build quality, packaging, contents, and durability of the various optics. You cannot go wrong!

Has Not Failed
Enclosed pistol red dot sight. Has not gone off. Seems tough. I did accidentally dropped this monted on a pistol from a couple of feet. Adjustments seem to keep its settings. Time will tell. Seems to have forgiving side to side range with projected dot. If it continues to work I will purchase another.
