Perfect for a quick fix!
Purchased for a maxi skirt that was way to long, I’m pretty short so most of my items need taking up. I used this to shorten my skirt by about 2inches and it worked a treat :) The skirt has since been washed and the therm I web is still in place! Definitely worth purchasing

Good item
Good item. Fast delivery. Thinner than I thought it would be, but I should have read the details more throughly.

Utterly changes the characteristic of the fabric. User BEWARE!!!
The iron on adhesive is not like the 'Hemline' trouser/skirt webbing (as I expected). I expected a very fine gossamer type webbing, but this felt like a solid rubberised adhesive. I decided to test a small sample piece of leftover cloth, and sooo glad I did. When I ironed it in between the layers of fabric, the rubbery strip melted completely through the fabric (a medium satin), and upon cooling, became extremely hard and reluctant to drape which was absolutely awful. It is going in the bin. I will never use this brand again, and I subsequently had to travel some distance to a hobbycraft to get some Hemline webbing, as my nearest local fantastic Fabrics Plus dressmaking, and crafting shop closed last year.

IT DOES THE JOB
I've bought this a few times and never let me down. Good product but a bit expensive.

Used to install new trouser pockets
I used this to install new trouser pockets, rather than sewing them in. So far, the trousers have been washed more than a dozen times and the tape is holding up well

Man sollte also sehr genau arbeiten.

Excellent product
The Thermoweb Heat’n Bond Hem Iron-On Adhesive has been a real game changer for quick and clean pant hemming. I’ve used it on dress pants, linen pants, and even jeans, and it holds up surprisingly well across different fabric types. It’s very easy to use—just measure, iron, and press. No sewing required, which saves a lot of time and effort. The bond is strong and keeps hems in place even after multiple washes, especially on lighter fabrics like linen and dress pants. For jeans, it still works well, though I found it’s best to apply extra pressure and follow instructions carefully for a longer-lasting hold.

An Inexpensive, Easy-to-Use Product We All Need
This product is so great, every home should have it. Though I’m an accomplished seamstress, I’ve never liked hemming clothes. As a result, clothes needing hemming were piling up and my family was complaining. I finally decided to try this instead of sewing. The result was amazing. Perfect hems in just a few minutes with nothing more than heat bond tape and an iron! When working with an unfinished edge, it helps to fold the fabric up to create a narrow hem first, and iron it flat to create a nice crease. Apply a thin strip of heat bond tape and iron again. Fold the fabric again to the desired final hem width and iron it flat to create another crisp edge. Apply the heat bond tape under the edge and iron again to fuse it. When hemming pants, I usually use either 4 pins to hold things in place, or I use very small amounts to bond the hem in places in lieu of pins. The adhesion is great. If any areas need fixing, it’s easy to slip a small wad in and iron it flat to fix it. It’s also great for quick repairs, doing creative alterations on ready-made clothes, crafts, scrapbooking, purse making, cards, appliqués, affixing lace or ribbon, and much more. There are endless uses. If using the tip of your iron it too cumbersome, try using a small iron for crafting instead. The only real downside to this product is running out of it. That’s why I prefer to purchase large rolls.
