Queen, Burgundy : Fishers Finery25mm Mulberry Silk QueenPillowcase, Burgundy : desertcart.in: Home & Kitchen Review: I ordered this pillowcase after ordering and returning one from Alaska Bear which was 19 mm. I did a lot of research so let me save you some time if I can, the "experts" say that 18-19 mm is the most durable and good for skin and hair, that is total BS, its not anymore breathable then a good cotton pillowcase and it may even be less so. The 19 mm felt like the satin pajamas they sell at Victoria's Secret kinda rough and artificial feeling, hard to explain the feeling but just take my word for it. This pillowcase is the real deal though. It is luxurious, soft, and feels almost like running your hand over a ripple in water (woah this sounds like a sonnet to silk and I'm kinda feelin' it). I sleep better on these, after college I had horrible sleeping habits and this pillowcase makes you want to sleep on it. Some tips: -Buy a lighter color more natural color because the red is still losing color every time I wash it and it's been 9 months of washing it once a week. However this color is absolutely stunning and royal and appeals to the boujee en moi', but had I known about the sustained color loss before I wouldn't have bought it because it makes me wonder if the dye is interacting with my skin every night. - I wash this with lukewarm water in my sink with some baby shampoo, solely hang drying it makes this case stiff and negates the entire point of having a $50 pillowcase sooo no go. Instead I put it in my fancy dryer that has a speed dry option and chose Ultra Low heat and let it run for 20 ish mins. -All the people that had these fall apart on them, I'm sorry that sucks, and I wonder if they wringed it out because thats a serious no no. Key to longevity is to not use hot water (limit it to lukewarm) and to NOT wring it out. Just squeeze the water and hang it somewhere clean and dust free and let the water drip. I did this over my sink or in my room with a towel on the floor to absorb the water drops, and THEN throw it in the dryer. Sounds like a lot of work but it really isn't. It is worth it for the Meredith Grey Season 15 type dreams I get to have on this pillow. Review: Very high quality silk pillowcase whose finish isn't overly satiny. I can tell its well made, and I like that, while it has the envelope enclosure, the flap is located at the end of the pillow (not the middle-back), so you could stick a slightly longer pillow in if you had to. Because it doesn't have a very satiny finish, if you have silk or Sateen sheets (which I don't at the moment), I'm guessing this pillowcase shouldn't slip around much or fall off the bed, which I've heard is a problem for many silk pillowcases. That said, it seems to, if anything, trap heat more than my [percale] cotton pillowcase. It doesn't trap moisture as much as my cotton pillowcase (though i don't know if I'd call it wicking either), but I find I have to turn it over to the other side what seems like every 10 minutes to avoid a warm pillow. I also like that it comes with its own garment bag for washing in. All in all, I can tell it's a really high quality product, but I expected better temperature regulation from silk and am a bit disappointed. Update: One of the seams in the "pocket" ripped in the first week and now it doesn't hold the pillow as securely.

I genuinely believed these pillowcases were of excellent quality. However, once I began washing and hang drying them, I was in for a surprise. Oh no, because even on the delicate cycle or when I hand washed them, the seams began to come apart. Now, there's a significant hole in one of them, and when I reordered, I didn't notice it was from the same company. I was hoping to try a different brand. So now I'm left with the same pillowcase, which might unravel over time due to washing, despite their claims that it wouldn't.

Got it yesterday, in this gorgeous deep red/wine color, exactly what I needed to rise some Christmas spirit at home. First thing first, I've machine washed in cold water, delicate cycle, gentle detergent (for silk and wool) using a mesh wash bag that included in the package. After it airdried on the open air, I found this white strips and stains. I thought the detergent didn't rinse out, so I rinse it by hand in cold water and air dried again - nothing changed. Don't know if I'm the unluckiest buyer ever of this pillowcase, or just the first one to report, but apparently the color is washing out after the very first cleaning following all the instructions. Can't express enough how much I'm disappointed, not sure what I'm suppose to do with this pillowcase now.

Mulberry silk is absolutely the best. I didn't buy the zipper ones as, they can be damaged or worn out.
