GOOTOP Bug Zapper Outdoor, Mosquito Zapper, 4200V 3 Prong Plug in Electric Fly Zapper, Mosquito Killer, Fly Traps, Flying Insects Zapper Indoor Outdoor, ABS Plastic Outer (Black)

If you are based in the United Kingdom, don’t purchase this item! It is fitted with a US plug and won’t work in the UK.

Benefit of doubt. I'm not sure this is suitable for UK use. I'm sure it is a great product as it has some great reviews, But... Mine blew and nearly caught fire on first use. So either it's not suitable for UK plug sockets or mine was a faulty product. Got a full refund same day, so can't really complain too much.

Does not have a UK plug and I suspect it isn't suitable for UK mains voltage so in my view it should not be on .co.uk market place

First, I am a real guy. I did not have a lot of hope, since most bug zappers don’t appear to work well for mosquitos, but this zapper, along with a Qualirey mosquito attractant pouch placed in the bottom, caught quite a number of mosquitos in its first night. I don’t have the worst mosquito problem, but enough to be annoying. I could hear the zapper working last night, and this morning there were maybe 10 mosquito bodies in the bottom of the trap, which was more than the zero I had expected. So, good job. A decent product at a reasonable price.

Let me clarify first there is nothing wrong with the product or the seller. I bought this from Amazon.SG assuming that items bought here can be used in Singapore homes. I was wrong. After opened up the package then I realised that the input voltage is rated at 110V AC. I don't think anyone will want to invest a transformer for this, let alone sitting inside your house which is also a fire hazard. Money wasted. Sam
