Using for my Unifi Protect NVR Instant Remote Display. Been about 4 months now with no issues.

Needed to extend an HDMI signal to a projector in the auditorium. Thought I was just getting that! When I got it, pleasantly surprised. It also extends the ir for the remote control so I don't have to stand under the projector pointing the remote at it. Also, there is an output HDMI at the source side so I can plug an extra display to it in the control booth. Kit includes ir sender/receiver wires, one power source (injects power into the eithernet wire for POE to the other side). Plug on power cord has a threaded lock to keep it in place... nice touch. No noticeable delay in signal to projector. Well written instruction manual as well.

I have used OREI for quite a while with our Live-Streaming setup. They have yet to let me down. They go together easily and the fact that you can power just the receiver side and the transmitter gets power over cable is excellent. It makes the setup of a portable system a lot easier since the receiver is going to be near the projector/TV/etc which also needs power. These had no problems syncing and going right to work. I didn't try out the IR, but I don't see why that would be an issue and is a nice addition if you are using this to control your inputs to a TV that you are sitting at. Saves more equipment and more wiring.

I'm still working on getting my setup done to have a screen out on my patio at the back end of my backyard. This will be good for a family get together to watch the game. So far I haven't been able to get it to work. This set comes with everything needed and I feel like if I had a little more expertise I would have had this done by now. So, it's probably not appropriate for a rookie. Other people's reviews tell me it can be done and I really feel that is true. I'll come back and update this review if I can make things work.

I got this to be able to use with my NVR. I wanted to use an additional monitor in another room. My server rack is in the garage, but I have CAT6 run throughout the house. This was exactly what I needed to have an additional monitor connected. I would usually use my NVR app, but this allows me to not always have my phone on me. It was straightforward to set up and so far I’ve had no issues.
