Tombow 55593 MONO Graph Lite Ballpoint Pen, Silver, 1-Pack

This pen is wonderful. It's just the right amount of scratchy. It feels and writes more like a 0.38 than a 0.5. Its lines are clear, crisp, and dark. I'll be buying more of these.

The pen writes soooooo buttery mooth and precisely!! I've always wanted to try a TomBow pen, And have seen the brand so many times when shopping for art and stationery supplies. But I was always afraid to spend the money... Turns out it's absolutely perfect for writing in my tiny pocket Bible, for taking notes. I really want to try it in a blue ink, as long as it's just as fine, smooth and precise.

as an artist this is my instant go to, everday use pen now! beautiful line work, smooth ink, no skipping, and last forever! It dries pretty quick and smudging is minimal as long as your not writing on something super glossy. its a little light in the hand, so if y ou prefer a heavy pen i would go for their rollerball gel pens instead. I started with one, now i have 6, so i can put a tombow in every bag and on every desk i have! if your using it for art, make sure you have a tissue nearby cause it does blot at the tip from time to time, as any ballpoint does. also bonus points for being refillable!!! I never have to buy another body for these pens unless thy break! i WISH i liked their rollerballs as much as i love this ballpoint!! including a couple of pieces i did with this pen, cause theres NEVER good reviews on amazon for artists, its always for journalers

Solid pen, writes smooth. I personally dont like the barrel thickness, just a tad too thick. I use ballpoints for sketching and currently the Zebra F-301 is my favorite. The Zebra pen is 0.7 compared to the 0.5 Tombow. On paper and to the naked eye the line thickness is not really noticeable, but it's definitely noticeable as you write or draw feedback wise. Which is why i prefer the zebra pen, i feel like i have more control over the pen, also I'm able to make lighter marks making shading easier. Not really a problem if you actual want a super smooth ballpoint pen though.

Everything about the pen is wonderful. The design in general is great, from the comfortable, easy-to-handle grip to the lightweight body. The pen has a medium-thickness body which allows for an easy handling without struggle. The click (the mechanism which allows the tip to be revealed) is in an area which removes any difficulty of having to outstretch a finger to reach. Finally, the ink. For a ballpoint pen, the ink is really smooth & rarely skips, if at all. At no point have I had any difficulty with writing due to the ink of the pen or its design. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a ballpoint pen for office use.

I thought I was ordering the 0.38mm tip but I got the 0.5mm. It’s a good ballpoint pen, but you may want to order elsewhere if you’re trying to get the ultra fine size.

Sadly, I'm a pen snob. Certainly not the sexiest hobby in the world, but hey, here we are. I've tried just about every pen under the sun, especially in the "fine tip" department. And after all my experimentation, this pen is the one that *always* ends up going in my pocket. Lightweight, sturdy, handsome. And best of all, it has an ultra-mega-fine tip on it. Like REALLY tiny writing here. It's just amazing and I love it. Definitely buy it.
