Hi.. the thread on my old valve body is m28 x 1 male and i need to get to m30 x 1.5.. that's what this adaptor is made for yes?

I also had M28 x 1.0 on my valve. I had to get this from Amazon Germany though and it fitted perfect. This is it https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B077G99CFD/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&psc=1

Ad3 adapter to adapt an m30x1.5 thermostat to the m28x1.0 valve.is this the dimension of this product to adapt drayton trv3 to tado smart head

No this will not fit the TRV3 we have, i believe is m28x1.0.

Will this adapt old Drayton valves to tado valves

I bought these for the exact same purpose... but they didn’t work for me. I think it really depends on the exact size of your existing valve. I ended up having my Plumber change out the valves for ones which the Tado TRVs fit directly.

Has anybody tried to use this to convert a drayton trv3 to use a hive head unit? some comments say it works with a trv3 and others say it doesn’t.

Sorry no idea it just converts the 28mm thread for the standard TRV to 30mm for the new standard heads.
