I did not want to trust these test strips until I had tested them for accuracy first. So I made up known alcohol concentrations using gin and cows milk. I tested dilutions of 0% 0.04% and 0.3% (the high, medium and low on the colour chart). The colours matched the expected concentrations each time. So I completely trust the accuracy of this test strips.

Have tested at different time periods and the estimated BAC indicated by the hue of blue was correct for the amount I drank and reduced at the expected times for when it should be leaving my system. Really useful for when I pump in the night for comfort to know whether I can keep the milk, breastfeed etc. Once it's testing clean I tend to pump the next lot just to be on the safe side and heavily dilute the clean tested milk with milk from when I haven't been drinking - not a scientifically proven method but I figure can't hurt.

Definitely works
At first I wasn’t real sure of these because they weren’t changing color, but I also hadn’t drink too much the first two times I tested. I only had 1-2 drinks at dinner and the strips were stark white. We went to the lake and I had a really strong Long Island x2 and I pumped after we got back to the house and I tested my breast milk and well needless to say, I’ll be saving this milk for baths! They definitely work but I also knew after I had drink that I couldn’t breastfeed based off of how I was feeling. It just helped me confirm what I already knew at that time.
