Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Hair & Body Perfume Mist | Long Lasting Body Spray for Women

I ordered the smaller size of Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 specifically for travel, and it ended up being perfect for throwing into a beach bag or carry-on. The scent is very summery and warm, though on me it reads more “luxury sunscreen at a resort pool” than true gourmand vanilla. That probably sounds negative, but honestly I mean it in the best possible way. It has that sitting-by-the-pool-on-vacation kind of vibe that just smells happy and warm weather-y. The notes are supposed to include pistachio, salted caramel, and vanilla. I definitely get the vanilla, but I can’t really pick out distinct pistachio or caramel notes individually. Instead, everything blends together into this creamy beachy scent that settles really nicely on skin and hair. One thing I especially like about this mist line is that it works really well sprayed into hair. I find the scent lasts much longer there than directly on skin, and I’ll still catch little hints of it throughout the day. The spray itself is also well done. It puts out a fine enough mist that it’s easy to lightly spritz over hair, clothes, and skin without accidentally soaking yourself. The only minor annoyance I’ve had is the lid, which can be a little finicky. You really have to push it firmly until it clicks into place or it feels like it might pop off in a bag. Ingredient-wise, this is more of a classic alcohol-based fragrance mist rather than a skincare-style body spray, but I haven’t found it particularly drying. Compared to heavier perfumes, it wears softer and more casually, which honestly fits the whole beachy aesthetic of the line really well. While the smaller size is a little pricey for a body spray, it lasts a long time so I think it’s a pretty good value. The larger size is definitely a better value if you’re wearing this often. Overall, I totally understand why this scent has become so popular. It’s easy to wear, very vacation-coded, and feels especially perfect for summer!

I ordered this hair and body perfume mist because I’ve been wanting something more vanilla and beachy for summer. I keep seeing Sol de Janeiro and the popularity of their 62 fragrance, so I went ahead and ordered it based on the description and hype alone. When I first sprayed it on my wrist, I wasn’t an immediate fan. It smelled very synthetic and I didn’t like how it faded into almost a musky baby powder vibe. It was super strong and I thought I made a huge mistake. But the next day I tried using it as it was intended, and I just tried a light mist over my hair. One pump, and I wasn’t even sure if it landed on me! Anyway, it turns out it did, and I was able to enjoy a lighter, fresher scent throughout the day. It never shifted to that baby powder scent. The musky, maybe sandalwood, fragrance was very much in the background where it be!onged. Lesson learned. For me, this is great as a subtle hair fragrance but not so great on my skin. My skin chemistry may play a part in that as well. So now, I can enjoy this fragrance and I can see wearing it throughout the summer. At one pump a day, it will last forever, and it’s a good value for $26.

Im new to this brand. I have 62. Which smells like pistachio caramel and vanilla. But in perfume form? . I use the body wash as lotion because i love layering like that. I got compliments the first time I wore this. It smells absolutely wonderful wonderful wonderful!!!!!!!! Seriously it smells awesome. Perosonal tip: the vanilla and sweet notes dont mix well when your skin starts to sweat even a little. Actually no perfume does. Do you wonder if your perfume is offensive to others? I did. What works for me is to spray your perfume on your clothes not on your skin. It stays on for a lot longer! The smell on my sweater was there for a week after I first wore this! It absolutely has staying power which is unheard of for a body spray. Second, I store all my sprays in the fridge. They smell better and last longer and slows down the musky notes that perfumes tend to get. Last, I spray this on my shirt and sleeves thirty mins before I leave the house. It smells way better than spraying right before you leave. And I am generous when I use this because its body spray not perfume. I also got 40. It wasnt my favorite. It smells too flowery and old lady like. But still smelled very good in its own way. Good enough I would wear this around the house. This line makes good scents what can I say. Lastly, I got 87 which is my absolute favorite. This smells like coconut the beach and sunscreen. I personally love the smell of sunscreen! It doesnt have any creams you can buy unfortunately like the rest of the scents. But for me, the Hawiaan beach by Bodycology smells EXACTLY like this. If you want to try this but dont want to spend a lot, for five bucks you can buy the spray OR lotion from here and my local Walmart has it also. Its the perfect match for me. Anyway, 87 smells sooo good. Theres no way this can be too strong. It just smells like pure happiness and super feminine. All three of these scents were blind purchases for me by the way. Again, spray perfume on your clothes, not on your skin. I bought the bodycology body spray for five bucks just to spray on my sheets and pillow case. I also sprayed all over my sweater and I can still smell it the next day. Had I sprayed on my skin, it would be gone in an hour. For perfume, i dont go over five sprays. Two on each arm and one on my upper chest area. And i never leave the house if i freshly sprayed myself. It may not be strong to you but trust me others will be overwhelmed. At least 30 mins before I leave but i even perfer 45 mins. I lay my clothes out, spray them and then do my make up routine etc. The reviews for this helped me so much, I wanted to help someone out there that was thinking about buying one or many. This Sol de Janeiro spray smells absolutely amazing! The scent is warm, sweet, and tropical, and it instantly gives that vacation-in-a-bottle vibe. It’s light enough for everyday wear but still noticeable in the best way, and it layers beautifully with lotion or other body products. A few spritzes go a long way, and the fragrance lasts surprisingly well throughout the day. It’s a fun, feel-good spray that always gets compliments and makes you feel fresh and confident!

It smells very nice, and rather delicious. The perfume smells very concentrated in the bottle, but once sprayed the sharpness of the smell goes down and smells "calmer" (if that makes any sense.). It does smell ever so slightly like fruit though... or maybe that's just my nose. The bottle design was nice to look at. The bottle hasn't leaked at all, and feels very lightweight.

Smells sweet, has a slight musk to it and a bit of a nuttiness to it. The bottle is super nice and easy to hold onto. It's a super nice size and quite big. One of my favorite scents to pair it with is the Ariana Grande MOD Vanilla and the Tom Ford Lost Cherry Body Spray. They all pair so so amazingly together. However, I have noticed that the Sol de Janeiro lasts the shortest amount of time out of all of them so if I am using this body spray with the combo I usually finish my shower with the accompaniny body wash, if you want to be really extra you can get the travel size for $10 for all 5 of the classic scents so you can carry it around with you (but tbh I wouldn't) since the big bottle isn't super portable. Honestly overall I love the scent and think it's super worth it! The scent is incredible for layering and can be either lightweight or heavy depending on how much of it you spray on to yourself. I haven't noticed any skin irritation even when sprayed on to my direct skin or applied to wet or dry skin. If you want it to last longer I recommend applying it after you apply lotion and before applying your main perfume scents and using it as a base scent profile to build off of.

Nice scent not too overpowering. Doesn't dissipate as quick as other body sprays I have used. Light vanilla with a hint of floral. Lid could be better designed bulky. Get compliments when I wear it. Wear daily.

This Cheirosa 62 mist is the perfect in‑between size, great for daily use and still easy to travel with, though I prefer 1 fl oz for true travel. It’s my absolute favorite daily go‑to scent, sweet, warm, and so addictive, and it lasts beautifully, especially in my hair. I own the whole 62 set from shower gel and lotions to the EDP. Obsessed with 62. This atomizer works interchangeably with the 62 refill size. I cannot get enough of this scent!
