The NGK CR7EIX Iridium IX Spark Plug is engineered for performance enthusiasts, featuring a fine Iridium tip for durability and stable sparks, a tapered ground electrode to minimize electrical quenching, and advanced anti-fouling technology. Its triple gasket seal and trivalent metal plating provide exceptional protection against corrosion and combustion gas leakage, making it the ideal choice for high-performance engines.

Nice plug
Great direct replacement plug for my 2006 Vulcan 900. Great price. Installation was fairly straightforward after gas tank was unbolted.

MASSIVE DIFFERENCE
put in my 2003 arctic cat and it fired up before the starter even finished cycling. wow

2007 Burgman 400 fits and works perfectly
The original plug has 5000 miles, so just wanted to replace it in a 2007 Burgman 400 scooter. Fit and runs perfectly.

Color me impressed!
While there are scooters that have engines of 50cc, there are few small engine motorcycles for sale anymore in the US. I own a Kawasaki Eliminator 125cc motorcycle. For perspective there are many push lawnmowers that have engine sizes in the 160-180cc range. That said, motorcycle engines spin much faster, typically breathe much deeper to make more power than equivalent sized mower engines. To do this they must rely on a strong, stable spark to make every power impulse count. My cycle had the original ngk plug and I decided to try the ngk iridium replacement. Hills I used to take in third gear with the throttle pinned I can now take in four with less throttle, on looking down I was quite a bit over the speed limit, which did not happen before. On firing the engine up I noticed that the idle is much more stable and could take the engine off enrichment very quickly, something I could not do before, as the engine would sputter and sometimes stall. On the rural highway the engine was much less stressed at maintaining speed. The engine is much more responsive at low speeds now and pulls harder. The original plug was still working well and I have been averaging between 75-85mpg, having regapped the plug once at 7k miles. With this hard working little engine every little bit helps and my bike no longer struggles to keep up with traffic in town. I would have balked before at spending seven and a half bucks for a spark plug. Not any more, color me very impressed!

PERFECT Replacement for 2004 Arctic Cat 500 4x4 FIS
Found this recommended on a forum due to length. It may be a bit cooler plug, but exact length. Needed a RESISTOR plug, which this fit the bill.Installed this new plug and a new spark plug cap (non-resistor) and ATV that was giving some troubles started right away and every time! Not sure if carb tuning is needed as we are running 93 octane and tuning with K&N Filter on the CVK34, so we have to tune anyway.

Better performance!
ANOTHER HONEST REVIEW FROM PAT OSBORNERecomended. Better performance than std. plug. Already gapped @ 29. Used in Yamaha Majesty (400cc scooter). Both smoother & stronger. MY BIKE IS MORE FUN! Zippier. Thank you.///UPDATE/// I'm not sure even I believe the performance difference I'm getting. Maybe I crushed the compression ring on the last (std) plug because I pull plugs & clean them. I then spray carb cleaner down inside the plug so the stuff that chips off doesn't fall out & scratch the cylinder wall. (I believe that's the fear that motivates recommending to not clean plugs.) So maybe after using the same comp. ring, it wasn't sealing in the compression completely. Seems like I learn something every day!

Will take time to know, but great so far
I haven't ridden enough to know for sure, but these plugs have been great so far. Idle is way smoother so that I could reduce the idle rpms, and power is better than I remember. I didn't even check the gap, it looked like the old plugs so just threw them in, so probably it is close enough. However I'm comparing power to memory as the bike had been idle for more than a year and my old plugs were pretty carbon fouled. So perhaps any new plugs would preform as well. I had fuel issues and tried cleaning the old plugs but wasn't able to ride since it never rev'd past idle, so can only compare that idle was worse and power now is very good. Also, one of the main benefits of the iridiums is the reported longevity, so there's no way to rate these on that attribute for quite a few miles from now. I'd definitely buy these over the regular ones again though. Cost a little over $5 more for two versus the regular plugs so not much of an expense, particularly if they can perform as expected for longer.

Absolutely incredible difference!
OMG!! I can’t say enough about these plugs! I replaced my factory installed NSK plugs with these iridium plugs, and it was like gettingA new bike! My 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan had 12k miles on it, and started every day (but only if the choke was engaged- it would sputter out if not choked for 2-4 minutes).I typically got 33-40 miles per gallon. After installing these? I never have to choke the bike to start it- just push the button an she fires right up! It purrs so smoothly now, I have more pick up and horsepower, and I’m getting 44-50 miles per gallon!!Incredible!! Worth every penny!
