This sleep mask (blindfold?) does a superb job of blocking out light. No light leakage around your eyes or nose. Not only that but it is comfortable - not touching your eyes - I can open my eyes without restriction and see nothing. The material is soft and easy against the face skin. I'm able to sleep on my side or on my back; when on my side i do need to adjust the mask to stop it slipping around; but that is no problem for me. You can tighten or loosen the mask's band to fit your face. Some feedback has commented about the strap being uncomfortable, but I don't find that.I think it's worth the money.This review is after a week of using it daily.

I brought this mask as well as a cheaper one to replace my current sleep mask which is falling apart. The cheaper one for about £4 (second picture) had very flat eye pockets and the nose hole was tiny, it let in floods of light along the side of the nose. This one tho has the some of the best light blocking out of any mask I have ever tried. I wear a mask every night and I thought my last mask was good (scrappy old black mask shown in first and second pictures) but it was over a yr old and falling apart and the brand was no longer for sale. My old mask blocked light in most positions but could easily get moved around in your sleep and let light in. This new one moulds to your face and almost no light is getting in at all! It is a little bulky but it’s soft and not too obtrusive if you are used to wearing a mask. The head strap is quality thick elastic and fully adjustable (usually you just get a 2 inch Velcro patch if you get any adjustments but this one is like a clothing strap, adjust it exactly how you want it) - it’s sturdy and very secure. I found that while sleeping the moulded nose piece was putting more pressure on the bridge of my nose than I was used to, but it was easy to loosen off the strap. A tiny sliver of light then came through the next morning but only when I looked at certain weird angles. (One thing I did notice however was that my eyes were a little dry. With such a tight light seal you also don’t have any fresh air flow to your eyes so it’s something to note if you suffer from dry eyes.)This is one of the best quality masks I have ever tried. Really thick strong material, great engineering and very good light blockage. So if you are looking for a blackout mask with the eye pockets and don’t mind a little extra bulk, then give this one a try. It’s easily worth the extra money and with such high quality materials and manufacturing I’m sure it will last twice as long as the cheaper one.

Very good and comfortable mask. Improves my sleep.only thing I am not 100% happy with is when I adjust the tension strap, the plastic part is right in the middle of the back of my head, which does feel slightly uncomfortable.Having said that, can't complain too much for the price of it.
