My daily use glasses
As I have horrible luck with receiving fragile items in one piece, I was worried these would show up a shattered mess. But despite rather scant packaging, they were all in tact. As they are really quite attractive and I loved them immediately, I turned around and ordered the larger and taller highball/cooler (16.25oz) version too.As most other reviewers have already pointed out, the grip and hand-feel on these is totally stellar— the design just makes sense. But my reason for purchasing these is they can be run through the dishwasher and live to tell; I have enough kitchen doodads that require hand washing so I demand drinking glasses that don’t need babying. These fit the bill and then some (tho I do only wash in the top rack). The heft of the double old fashioned is absolutely perfect as now I have the cooler size (what I call a "highball") to compare it to; I find the cooler (sold separately) to be a tad too weighty… that’s probably just due to my puny girl hands and the fact that I judge glasses for daily drinking, not just a piece for special occasions or weekend cocktails. So yeah, the 13.75 oz double old fashioned size and weight is fabulous. It’s a 5 star purchase for me but I must add I think it’s silly that glass products need to state they’re BPA-free (is this not the exclusive domain of plastics?!). And another small gripe that they don’t arrive in quite as much cushioning as needed to navigate the rigors of shipping. (But if you wanted to give these as a gift they do come boxed in a way where you'd only need to stick them directly in a gift bag; it's high quality retail packaging). Otherwise I am utterly enamored with the style, quality, and price point and am now considering completing the entire collection by buying the 11 oz rocks version.

Great design — Easy to hold
A bit about where this review is coming from. I grew up in the fifties and lived in houses designed by my father in that particular California mashup of Craftsman and Minimalist architecture I always associate with Sunset Magazine of the 50s and 60s.I was specifically looking for a design that would be easy to pick up and comfortable to hold. These really fit the bill and they're nice to look at too. The design, with it's angles, makes them nestle into your hand so you don't need to hold onto them tightly which is an advantage when a guest is tipsy (or you're older and have recently dropped a glass). They are rather light, and two 12oz and one 14oz glass developed cracks when put under ice maker chute — the trick to avoid breakage is to angle the glass so cubes hit the thicker bottom rather than a side. Using crushed ice option works too. No breakage in dishwasher but they don't seem to get as clean as thicker glasses, and they spot more. When hand washing you might want to use a toothbrush or at least use (soft) sponge vertically since residue from a WhiteRussian, Horchata or OJ tends to hide inside the sharp angles and a once around lightly with sponge doesn't cut it. I usually do this w/o rinsing and then immediately put in D/W to sanitize — and they come out spotless.Because of the design I really like these glasses with the 1" cube ice cubes from the Tovolo Perfect Cube Ice Trays available in various colors. Try making them w/ cranberry juice and pouring vodka straight out of the freezer (or pink lemonade) over couple or three of them -- spectacular. And if you're into cubist or constructivist art, or like or have any of the Bertoia, Eames or Saarinen tables or chairs with spider or crisscrossed wire bases these are a no-brainer.Love them. Highly recommend.

These are the best glasses if you like to have an easy grip
They are also very pretty. They make me happy every time I reach in the cabinet for one.

Great glasses
Good glasses, only use 5 stars when expectations are far exceeded. Feel pretty solid and are wide enough to fit one ice sphere with touching the sides

not boring. These glasses are perfect
After finding out that the everyday glasses I had been using for the past 5 years contain lead, I was on a quest to find new glasses. I wanted something sort of funky, not boring. These glasses are perfect! They came perfectly packaged (a box in a box), and arrived undamaged. The glasses themselves are nice! They have a little bit of weight on them, which is good, and they look really cool. I also like how the rim on top is wide. I love how these are made in Italy and not China like the rest of the glasses on the market. Will definitely be purchasing more in the future!

Great design and price
I saw these cups in a magazine and have been very happy with the quality and design of the product. The glass is mid thickness and we haven't broken any (this being unusual is an understatement for my family). They are pretty and functional - easy to hold if you have small hands. Arrived in very good packaging.

Chipped glass
The glasses are very nice. The design makes them very easy to hold. Unfortunately one of the glasses had a chip along the rim so they were all returned. They really need to be individually bubble wrapped and/or inspected prior to shipping. I reordered them from another website who ships directly from the company. While they were packaged the same from the company as these, none of the glasses were damaged.

Love these glasses
This review is for the middle sized glasses. I have been using the other two sizes as my everyday drinking glasses for years and have had no issues with chipping or cracking. I run them through the dishwasher, even on the bottom rack sometimes. I originally bought them just because I liked the geometric, angled look, but they’ve turned out to be incredibly durable. When I saw this middle size, I ordered them. I like the size. The only thing that’s weird is that they have a slightly different green/blue hue. It is hardly noticeable, but when the glasses are all stacked next to each other, I can see it in the base. Doesn’t effect usability though.
