Why didn't I get this sooner?Perfect fit and seal.On my 14oz Ember, which used to keep coffee warm for about 60-70 min, it now keeps it warm for 2+ hours!As long as the sliding piece is in the closed position, keeps all liquids in even in a bumpy truck cup holder. Yes, it still gets a little outside, but thanks to the lids design, what little that does escape stays inside the lid.Great deal and the perfect add on one to a great coffee mug!

I bought this lid to use with my 14 oz metallic Ember Mug2. The quality of the lid is good. It fits my mug really well. The silicon o-ring makes the fit nice and snug. And it’s easy to clean. I find it keeps my coffee hotter throughout the mug, instead of the coffee just being hotter at the bottom of the cup more than the top. And it also preserves a little battery life. All that being said, I would call the lid more splash-proof than spill-proof. When my mug tips over, liquid leaks from the closed sippy slider on top of the lid. It leaks out slowly, but when it’s coffee spilling into and the cup holders in the center console of your car, any amount is problematic. Also, if my mug dropped onto a hard surface, I’m pretty sure the lid would pop off. So yeah, not spill-proof, but definitely splash-proof because the lid fits nice and snug. Overall, though, this is a very useful accessory for an Ember mug, and I’m glad I decided to buy it.

These ember lids fit perfectly on our 14 ounce ember cups. They look great and you can get them in different colors so it’s easy to see which cup is yours. They go on or off easily. They help to keep your drink warm longer. Good quality! Great purchase!

That's this.I'm surprised to be writing a five-star review for this, because when I placed my order, I was bitter about the cost. It is, after all, a LID. Heck, why didn't the mug come with a lid in the first place? Then I got it and used it.I really appreciate the design of the Ember mug's lid, and now I want one for my 10oz mug, too. Specifically, the way the edge or lip of the lid is contoured makes for a really comfortable drinking experience. You don't really tend to think about what would be ergonomic for your lips - I sure didn't - until I used this.I also really love that the sip-hole slide cover pops off completely, super easily, for cleaning. We've all used sip-thru lids that get uncomfortably gunky. This makes it incredibly easy to avoid that entirely, and I love the ease of cleaning and use.It forms a good, strong seal with my mug, so now I don't have to worry about curious kitten paws making their way into my coffee. I bought the model for my 14oz Ember Mug 2 and it fits flawlessly.

Lid fits well and does a good job helping keep your coffee hot and the Ember battery charged.The silicone gasket gets stained over time. I have tried to locate a replacement gasket to no avail.For the price of the Ember products, lids should be included.

Fits very tightly, it's difficult to turn once on in case you need it at a different position. Holds the heat in, I get at least an extra hour battery life from my mug with this on. I really appreciate that it came with different color sliders, we have other travel mugs that look similar but don't fit this, so I was happy to be able to change the slider to red to easily distinguish without having to try each one.

This lid does exactly what it's supposed to: it helps keep the heat in the Ember mug so the mug's power isn't drained too quickly. There is definitely a difference in the mug's performance when not using the lid, so I recommended getting this lid when ordering the Ember mug. The price is average for the lid but I got it on sale during Black Friday. Also got the Ember mug on sale. Otherwise, they are very pricey and quite the luxury item. Some might think they're frivolous, but my house gets cold in the winter and this mug has made morning coffee extra special by keeping it hot for as long as needed.
