I am watercolor artist and most of my work is done outdoors. I needed a lightweight stool portable and comfortable enough to spend up to two hours sitting without complains. This is the third folding stool I get. The first one was the right size but only had 3 points of support. After a while that can get uncomfortable. The second one was very similar to this one but it was so small only a child or a small person could use it. The Yolafe is perfect for me. Very sturdy, tall enough for an adult person, comfortable for my purposes and very light. I can see this working great on a camping trip, picnic or fishing.

I purchased other folding stools for taking with me to paint and trust me, stay away from tripod style ones, you wont be able to lean forward or move around at all without falling over on those. This chair is sturdy, compact and comfortable to sit on for long enough to paint-- watercolors at least ;) The pocket is handy too, wish there more. The only minus for some people might be that it's low off the ground, almost like sitting cross legged which I don't mind, but keep that in mind.

This was worth its weight in gold on my backpacking trip! Many are hesitant to pack a chair but If you want something sturdy, light weight and comfortable for traveling I recommend getting this. It also came with a convenient bottle opener which added a nice touch.

Not the greatest comfort level, but quite satisfactory for my needs. I'm a watercolor painter and I needed something lightweight and easy to carry. It works very well for plein aire painting. It is quite low to the ground, so having a water jar sitting on the ground beside me, it was easy to reach to clean my brushes. Employing a small thin board under my spiral watercolor 'sketchbook', I had several inches off to the side to rest my small watercolor palette. All in all, the stool was quite acceptable. I'm pretty sure that a more comfortable chair / stool would not have the same overall functionality and would probably be heavier to carry.

Very portable, lightweight and easy to carry. i can use this folding stool for camping, fishing and parks. perfect fit for all outdoor and indoor activities. I love it so much， it is a very handy and sturdy stool though it is small，this lightweight and comfortable stool for hiking is indeed a good helper, I decided to buy a few more pieces, placed in the garage.

This is a small lightweight beast of a chair. I use it in my photography blind and it works well holding up my weight and my squirming around while shooting. It is quite ( doesn't squeak while squirming ), which is a real plus for photography and the big feet keeps it from sinking into soft soil. It is small enough and light enough to carry on your shoulder using the carry bag that comes with it, or attached to your backpack.

Lightweight, relatively sturdy, not terribly comfortable

i bought this chair primarily because i want a place to sit when i take my cat outside. we go different places around my house and i like to sit down and he likes to relax in the sun sometimes. it's really lightweight and you can carry this on your shoulder because it comes with a carrying case and strap. one of my neighbors complimented me on this stool just the other day. it's also far enough off the ground where ants don't reach you or any other bugs. very reasonable price too.
