Thank God
At times I may need to add a half cup for smelly items I washed a cat bag with this stuff, clothes, and even used on the floor as a cleaner. Using on the floors may add suds, but the smell is removed from the spot and the cat won’t peel there anymore. Works great on clothes, just really smelly clothes might need a bit extra detergent. Works great and thank God for this product!!! My cat thinks it’s okay to pee on a load of clothes in the bathroom in my daughter’s bathroom that don’t make it to the hamper. This is an ongoing problem. His pee is SOOOO strong, that it took only this product to take it out. NO NEED TO pre wash items, smell will come out. ONLY thing is, the detergent won’t work on some cheap fabrics that you can buy off of SHEIN, Temu, etc. Had to throw a pair of pants away. 98% of the time the smell is completely gone. I said earlier that one could use this detergent on the floor to avoid a cat Fromm peeing in that spot again, this is probably true, however, my cat peed on yet another pile of clothes in the exact same spot, but floor was untouched. Natures Miracle has.a different product that removes the smell better and works great. I believe it’s just a liquid agent. I bought a gallon and I had to leave it and let dry because the Oder was too much. I hung a Christmas tree skirt over the shower to dry after rinsing the pee out, but it dripped on the tile and left an Oder. I sprayed this cleaner that is a liquid on the area that smelled and let dry because I didn’t over use it when dried, there was no film feel to the floor at all, and the smell was gone. You have to let this product sit for 15 min. Anyway and do not dilute. As for the detergent, there isn’t a product out there that can compare to its results. The price is a little costly because it works, but it’s not priced too high. It lasts a long time because you really only need a 1/3 cup for it to work well. If your cat isn’t using the litter box, then check the dome on the top of the litter box and check to see if your cat fits inside comfortable anymore. My cat is a Tabby and gained weight, so he couldn’t fit anymore. Dr. Bills later, we come home and I see him not able to move very well. Just a tip for you, however, if they are peeing outside their litter box, either it’s dirty, or your cat is trying to let you KNOW something is WRONG!!! I hope this has been helpful.

Works so good!
We have an older dog who has a lot of accidents. This is very effective at getting smells and stains out of his pads. My wife has sensitive skin and it hasn't bothered her. There's no residue, and the washed laundry is no softer or stiffer than it would normally be. The bottle size could stand to be bigger. All in all it works great.

Saved the day
Cat peed on very expensive baby stroller...yuck!!! It stunk. Knew better than to just wash so looked around for an enzyme type cleaner and decided to give this one a try. VERY happy with the results, cat urine smell completely gone. I deviated from the instructions a bit, adding 1/4 cup to the liquid bleach dispenser on my washer, works great. Have now used on bedding and towels and they come out fresh smelling and appear cleaner. Have reordered 2 bottles. I am using this instead of bleach now in the laundry.

Lessons Learned from the Devil's Cologne...
My Mom's cat (Rizzo) snuck into my room and peed on a pile of dirty clothes. One pair of shorts got it bad, but I didn't know any better at the time and put the whole pile through an ordinary wash. To my horror, EVERYTHING came out smelling like REALLY potent cat p!$$ - 3 of my favorite t-shirts and 3 pairs of shorts reeked to high heaven; overpowering smell. I washed them again, because I was ignorant about the horrors of the Devil's Cologne, and then AGAIN - a THIRD time through ordinary washing with ordinary detergents, and they not only STILL stank, but made our little laundry room and the whole hallway reek of cat urine too. I put the tainted clothes in a trashbag and ordered some replacements, believing they were beyond saving. It was a financial hit that made me leery of and angry at an otherwise sweet pet. The tainted clothes sat in the plastic garbage bag for 3 weeks while I went to work, enjoyed my new clothes, and kept the demon away by pouring white vinegar in a line across the entrance of my bedroom and bathroom doors (we have hardwood floors), wiping it up with a rag - because cats don't like the smell. Ha! Backatcha, Ms. Rizzo. Then I learned that there MIGHT be a way to save the tainted items by soaking them in a mixture of water and white vinegar overnight, and sprinkling baking soda onto them before putting them through a wash with HOT water. I didn't have any baking soda, but in desperation, tried it with just a bucket of vinegar and water and a FOURTH ordinary wash after a whole night's soak. They showed SOME improvement to my surprise, but not nearly enough to even dream about wearing those clothes again. My sister brought over a big bag of baking soda, and I tried another recommendation - laying the clothes out flat, covering them with baking soda, wrapping them up and unfolding them again in the wash, THEN pouring white vinegar on top so you can hear it fizzing, and then a FIFTH trip through the ordinary wash, with ordinary detergent. The smell was no longer overpowering when they came out, but neither did it restore the tainted garments to wearable condition. I also read conflicting information about using hot water. I heard about Nature's Miracle, and bought the Laundry Boost In-Wash Stain and Odor Remover. It was cheaper than the other varieties, and I went full tilt with all of the acquired cleaning powers at my command - I soaked the clothes in vinegar and water overnight, covered each item with baking soda in the washing machine, and hosed each item down with Nature's Miracle - like spraying lighter fluid over charcoal - and threw in a cap ful of regular detergent on top, for the SIXTH wash, this time with cold water. They came out smelling MUCH better. I was astonished, in fact. There was room to hope. However, I put them in the dryer, and they came out smelling more "potent" than they had before going in! In a fit, I hurled them directly back into the washing machine and hosed them down with the 2nd half of the bottle, plus a generous amount of baking soda, and skipped the regular detergent (I learned that regular detergent only masks the smell while locking the offending "crystals" into the fabric - GREAT!!! Info I could've used weeks ago, lol). This was the SEVENTH wash. Again, they came out smelling MUCH better. Way to go, Nature's Miracle! But again, I put them in the dryer, and they came out smelling like cat p!$$!!! AAAAARRRRRGGGHH!!!! Only THEN did I learn that HEAT MAKES THE CRYSTALIZATION OF THE CAT-COLOGNE WORSE, and that my first three washings with ordinary detergent, plus the one with hot water, PLUS the heat from all the drying, likely burned the smell into the fabric permanently. The ONLY solution would be to soak them in enzymes to break down the uric acid once and for all, which SOME reports said could be done. But I had used the whole bottle of In-Wash with just two loads of laundry (granted, I HOSED those items down, lol). So I bought the more powerful - and more expensive - Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer for Cats in the 32oz spray bottle. I'll finish my review on that page, because while I fully believe this In-Wash Laundry Boost product would be effective on recently-tainted items IF - and only IF - you sprayed the product on the fabric and left it in a plastic bag for 8 hours to let the enzymes work first, then washed, and then AIR DRIED!!!!!, the product might have worked for me. But it didn't - not completely - in my circumstances. I found the smell of the product more agreeable than many other reviewers apparently, but for a guy living paycheck to paycheck, this stuff is expensive, and THAT is why I'm trying so hard to save these clothes - cleaning products are cheaper than buying another set of $40 shirts and a similar amount for more shorts (at least so far). Plus, because the cat is here to stay, I NEED to know what will work for the foreseeable future, because she's pleased with herself, and left a wet gift outside the range of the vinegar line I put at the entrance of my bedroom door. It's like she's letting me know she's gunning for me, lol. One slip-up on my part, if I run to the store and accidentally leave the door cracked open, and she may strike again. This time on my bed? My computer chair rug? Another pile of clothes? I NEED to know how to combat this!!! Nature's Miracle has produced the best results so far. Bottom line - this stuff did more to get the smell out of 3-week old, tainted clothes than anything previously up to that point. I just wish I'd known enough to let them air dry - or to have not baked the crystals in in the first place, lol. I want to like Ms. Rizzo, but unless you know, you just don't know how awful that smell can be.

Works great!
This stuff is awesome! I was looking for something to help get smells out of child bedding (primarily from bedwetting accidents). Regular detergent just wasn't doing it, and everything still had a lingering pee odor. I found this and decided to give it a try; one wash with some of this added and everything smells clean and fresh! We also had a "sick in the bed" incident and this got any odors out completely. Previously, I have thrown away sheets that smelled like sick even after washing more than once. I'm relieved at not needing to replace sheets again. This is GREAT for children's bedding. I haven't used it yet for pet odors or stains, but I'm fairly confident it would handle those just fine.

It truly is a miracle!
My Dad has Dementia and recently began declining and became incontinent. I have been picking up his dirty laundry every night and have to drive home with the windows open because the urine smell is so strong. I’ve tried so many detergents, white vinegar, Lysol laundry sanitizer but none of them got rid of the smell. I found this in Amazon and decided to give it a try and I was so completely surprised. I put his bed sheets in the washing machine and squirted this directly onto the sheets. Within seconds it has neutralized the urine smell. I washed the load on the normal cycle with Tide Oxi Odor Control the dried them. I’m telling you there is no smell whatsoever! I still cannot believe it. I just bought 4 more bottles because there was a coupon that sells 4 for the price of 3. I’m going to put some in a spray bottle next to his hamper at the nursing home in hopes they will spray the clothes before they put them in the hamper so the smell does not linger in his room. This is truly a miracle product for dealing with incontinence.

It actually works for laundry, removed cats urine smell
I am surprised. I wasn’t expecting perfect results. Thought I would have to wash several times and was prepared for that. Usually all other enzymatic cleaners / laundry boosters don’t work well on cats urine stains and smells. This time I used it instead of regular detergent on the clothes that had bad cats urine smell and other than that it was clean. This completely removed that horrible smell. I thought I would have to throw away all that clothes, but it saved it. Just make sure to use cold settings because hot water and hot air will set those cats urine stains and the smell. So my verdict: it is effective on cats urine stains and smell for sure, when used in laundry on a cold setting.
